I have just finished the Birth Power, Body Wisdom course and it has been such a lovely five weeks of sessions. I really looked forward to my Thursday evenings gathering with other pregnant women to learn from Aimee and absorb all the collective wisdom! It’s been such an empowering course, and I can honestly say I’m excited for labour and the next stage of my motherhood journey.

Step by Step Doula
Anne-Marie kindly stepped in when I went into labour and my original doula couldn’t make it… her voice on the phone already calmed me down when speaking on the phone and when she arrived to the hospital she stayed by my side all along!! She was absolutely amazing: reassuring, calming, helped me with positions, massages, essential oils, helped me with information and to think and explored of all options when we reached stages of hard decisions to review the whole situation, created an amazing atmosphere, helped my partner as well and she was the sweetest anchor all along! Even after she came to visit and keeps checking in to see how we getting on and helps with sharing valuable information regarding breastfeeding, sleeping and all. Thank you Anne-Marie you’re such a caring and wonderful person. Xxx

The Intuitive Doula
Sophia offered us invaluable, informed and stable support through what was the most unnerving journey of our lives! From the outset, we felt totally at ease and that we were in safe hands with her. While we did do an NCT course, we still felt we needed that extra bit of confidence to ensure we were as informed as we could be with what our birth rights truly are and she gave us as much information as we needed. We wanted a home birth, and while sadly that wasn’t the birth we had in the end, Sophia was still right by our side. She empowered us with the tools to feel like we knew what to expect, how we could make the best out of our birth and how to enjoy it! I would recommend her to any birthing mother / team who need that extra bit of support to feel empowered! She truly is the intuitive doula!

After finding out I was pregnant, I knew I wanted to do everything I could to educate and equip myself with the fundamental skills that would help me during child birth. Thank goodness we picked Jess! Not only did we learn a great deal about birth and labour, but also about ourselves. Jess made my partner and I feel valued and answered all our questions before, during and after every session. Jess made the uncertain and daunting experience ahead seem manageable and exciting. Without the breathing techniques that we learnt from Jess’ hypnobirthing course I honestly wouldn’t have coped. Breathing and focusing during the contractions and pain was a real life saver! My birth was tough but positive, thanks to the techniques we learnt. Thank you for changing the way I view labour and birth and giving it a positive light☺️

Birthing With Love Hypnobirthing and Birth Support
Yvette was an incredible support and positive guide throughout my pregnancy, it would have been very different and far more difficult without her. I approached Yvette whilst pregnant with my 2nd baby and suffering from awful morning sickness. She was an instant help with practical tips and emotional support to help me connect with my baby and cope with feeling sick and tired. I had done a hypnobirthing course with my 1st child and was looking for a refresher for round two – hypnobirthing is undoubtedly a powerful way to cope brilliantly in labour, ease pain, empower women to have the birth we envisage and to release any fear. I feel very strongly that women need support and love when they are pregnant, and as wonderful as NHS midwives are, (and they are generally wonderful) they must follow protocol, which can be a hard road for any pregnancy, labour and post-partum period. Us ladies do well to seek our own support network beyond the system and be cared for on a highly sensitive, powerful & personal level without judgement. Yvette was just that – she was a rock for me and my family. I went from being a bit depressed with feeling so sick and totally unconnected to my baby, to being filled with positivity, knowledge and confidence and glowing with love for my baby. We decided to do the full course and have Yvette come to our house to teach, I wore my PJs and got all cosy on the sofa or bounced on my yoga ball during sessions. It was so special and personal and she empowered me to make my own birthing decisions with ease and confidence. Birthing in a pandemic aged 40 after an emergency C-section had the consultants breathing down my neck; however my experience was utter joy and I was supported fully by midwives and Yvette to have my home birth. I would not have been so confident and armed with knowledge if it wasn’t for Yvette. My baby girl came easily in the birth pool at home with no complications, no tearing, just pure love. We had tea and cake on the sofa afterwards. I was so completely elated and my baby is happy, calm and a good sleeper. I cannot praise Yvette enough. I sought her out primarily for hypnobirthing techniques in labour, but I got way more than that. Her work penetrated my whole family, we were all so connected and excited about the baby, the birthing experience was incredible and my baby girl sleeps, eats and smiles - and I really needed Yvette’s support throughout pregnancy, particularly when midwives and consultants started putting pressure on, I always had someone I could trust to turn to, she had my back and discussed things calmly with knowledge and care. She was on the end of the phone during labour when we had some questions and she checked in afterwards on me and the baby. Yvette unlocked the power within me to Boss my Birth and be the loving mother I dreamed I would be despite a sickly pregnancy and the pressures and protocols of a health system.Cat, age 40, proud mama who birthed easily at home after emergency C-Section

Virginia Walker - Yoga + Birth & Postpartum Doula
I have been for some Reiki sessions with Virginia, and found these immensely relaxing. She is very calm and put me at ease, and the space she practises in is absolutely beautiful. It’s a very lovely experience and I would highly recommend her.
