1 star lol u dont deserve that refusing a child water when its warm then first calling him then wanting to put him in iso for it i dont think so. The thing is my son came home before lunch from his class and nobody was aware of this till i told them a week later when they did get round to ringing me back after all the calls. This school is a disgrace

This school does not follow bullying policy, seems as if they haven't even read it. They pretend nothing is happening so they don't have to document it for OFSTED, and end up putting children's mental and physical health at risk. A number of children at this school are under CAMHS, which children of this age shouldn't have to seek this sort of help. The head Mr Parris is never visable around the school, no one ever sees him. A truly vile school, wouldn't reccomend anyone to send their children there !

The way the school is run is an absolute joke. Kids not allowed phones, so you have to call the receptionist who NEVER picks up. On numerous occasions, I have called several times without any luck. On urgent occasions, i have had to physically go to school and found the receptionist on her phone texting. Completely unprofessional

I study photography after doing one year at Franklin just down the road, the photography staff are really helpful and are always want to help you

Can't put negative stars sadly but this school is outrageous. No teaching whatsoever, my brother can't take his exercise books home. How are they meant to revise and how are parents meant to help at all? This seems like a way to cover up the lack of teaching. Looking for a transfer before it's too late.

I studied here for 9 years from 2004. A great place to study for anyone with special needs.

all i ever got in this skl was bullying and detentions all the time! there were times where i did enjoy myself bcz of the fights in this skl bcz they were very interesting 4 me personally bcz 4 once the attention wasn't on me and i did enjoy when i did rewards days actvities like going on bouncy castles at nechells park even tho i had 2 do lessons afterwards and when we did a rewards christmas party but that doesn't change the fact all this skl knows what 2 do is fight all the time. the teachers r shouting at students not teaching them in the way they understand and r surprised when they fail their exams and get kicked out or leave that skl! i was getting bullied for 3yrs and i was always forced 2 blend in with the crowd otherwise i'd be emotionally attacked 4 it! a week b4 valentine's day there was abt 9 - 12 fights in one day this yr and it was disgusting, then there was an incident where a student brought a live gun in2 skl and the place went in2 lockdown sending texts 2 the parents and this was the same week of the Texas school shooting so parents were banging the doors and gates down trying 2 get in! thank god i am in new skl now with new proper friends! this skl is despicable! if u know what is good 4 u *DON'T SEND UR KID TO THIS SCHOOL!!!*

Once upon a time was a very poor performer with bad reputation but a new head and deputy head team turned it around. Was apprehensive when the head left for a new challenge but the other half of the team turned head keeps it going to new heights and has built a very passionate and motivated staff and this is reflected in the pupils. No wonder it's recognised as the best school (ahem Academy) for miles around.
