French haute cuisine restaurant

Service was super. The food was excellent. On a wild and wind day, the Bistro was a little cool, especially for the lady at the window. But most enjoyable. We will recommend and we will be back!!

I had an itison voucher for a 3 course meal which I was given for my birthday from my sister. Myself and my partner had the rump steak for the main course. When I went to pay the supplement which was supposed to be £7 as advertised on the itison website I was told it's £8 each. I said so the website is wrong then and the staff member said it's now £8 but I just checked when I got back home and it still says £7 supplement on the website. I am not bothered about the £2 extra but it's the principal of it. Why does it still say £7 supplement each when it is £8 each supplement. Everything else was very good the food and drink was Tasty and good quality.

The most wonderful evening. The food and service was beyond impeccable. We were so impressed by all the lovely staff we met and who were kind enough to let us have a look around the kitchen. Thank you all, thank you chefs for making it such a special evening for us. We will certainly be back again soon.

A must stop for good food and great service. The food was exceptional. The wine was exquisite and the desert vanilla soufflé was outstanding. Really enjoyed being able to taste a variety of items for a reasonable cost and the staff and owner were attentive and professional. Great experience and would return and recommend.

Good scallop starter. However I find my main cours lamb smell too strong. Dessert is great too.

We've had an amazing dinner right before our concert. Want a relaxed atmosphere? Got it. Want lovely food? Had it in spades. Wines? Don't even begin, an excellent selection both by glass and bottle. But what really stood out? Bruna, as she was an amazing hostess making sure we felt relaxed and welcome. We've never wanted for anything. The food and service together provided a setup for a memorable evening.

I was so excited for this visit (having only been to a restaurant with more than one Michelin star once before but it being possibly the best overall restaurant experience I've ever had) but wound up a bit disappointed and questioning the Michelin guide after having several disappointing one (and now two/three after this vacation) star experiences over the last year. There is no doubt the food is good and it's elegantly presented and the meat is impeccably cooked. But nothing I tasted felt new" or made me "wow

Incredible food, one of the best main courses I've ever had. Lamb wellington was just amazing and the reduction sauce was spectacular.

Went there twice. First time for the à la carte menu and the second time using a deal online for the cheese fondue. Both time the food was succulent. Highly recommend the place
