I recently had the pleasure of using Bates Wharf Marina for the first time, and I was very impressed with the service I received. I was looking to buy a new boat, and I was referred to Bates Wharf by a friend. I was immediately greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable sales associate who took the time to understand my needs and show me a variety of boats that would be a good fit for me. I was also impressed with the range of services that Bates Wharf offers, from boat sales and servicing to valeting and transport. It slightly saddened me each time we went downstream from Bates Wharf Marina to see the poor state of “River Dolphin“, a Bayliner Cierra 2855.Earlier this summer, I noticed her at BWM on the hard standing with lots of parts removed. More recently I saw she’d gone from the yard and assumed the worst. But I was wrong … as we went downstream we saw her her back on the river … sparkling again!!The BWM team did an amazing job with the outside and I understand there was a lot of engine / outdrive work completed too. No doubt now fit for many more years of enjoyment by her owners!

Bates Wharf sold my Beneteau Antares 8.80 in 2016, and I am the third owner. They have tried to provide a good after-sales service, often with less-than-efficient support from Beneteau. The Bates Wharf team answered my requests for information by return emails and reached a satisfactory conclusion/supply.
