Thorpe Lakes, Wakeboard, Waterski & Wakesurf

Love this place. Great vibes, helpful instructors, good variety of kickers, easy to get to. Discovered it about a year ago and have been coming back regularly ever since - always enjoy an afternoon spent wakeboarding here.

Excellent place for wakeboarders with very decent prices and cool staff.

I Absolutely Love This To Bits! Every Time I Go And Surf Around The Lake, I Always Look At Thorpe Park To The Left. Always Loved Watching Colossus Go Round It's Loop And Stealth Going Over The Top Hat! The Water Mat Be Cold, But This Attraction Is Super Fun! Definitely Recommend Coming Here If A) You Love Waterskiing And/Or B) Want To Get Good Views Of Thorpe Park!

Absolutely fantastic experience of learning to water ski here. I've had two teachers and they are both excellent - giving plenty of on land instructions and then a really good mixture of positive encouragement and constructive feedback. Both going the extra mile and really taking care of me. I highly recommend.

Brilliant chilled fun place to go and cable wakeboard. Not been for a couple of years and plenty of new obstacles. Looks like they are building a new clubhouse. Nice friendly staff.

Generally great place but when it's busy you barely get a turn at the wake cable as the pros keep going forever even though there is a lap limit. My advice to the staff would be not to favour pros and enforce the lap limit

Excellent day out, really good fun and not too pricey. Would be 4 or 5 stars if they had a few more hire boards in better condition, there's almost none that are usable.

I’ve been coming to Thorpe Lakes since 2011 and still love it! I’ve tried kneeboarding, wakeboarding and water skiing behind boats, on the beginner “System 2” cable and also on the main cable. The staff over the years have all been brilliant and the current staff are no exception.Thorpe is a fun place to ride wakeboards and skis and has the most welcoming vibe out of any wake park I’ve visited, I’ve made friends for life here. The features (kickers and sliders) are on the beginner-intermediate end of the spectrum but pro riders are still able to have a great time and also feel challenged.The facilities are fairly basic or “rough and ready” but for me that’s not a problem at all.The aqua park is a fun time, the staff may seem young but they’re highly trained and I’m always impressed with how they look out for everyone’s safety.All in all, I’d give this place a 9/10.
