Great meeting point for the family, lots of activities, now including a mini golf! Big open spaces and plenty of parking… very relaxed atmosphere and the kids love the playground and floating pillow.

This is a beautiful place, perfect for families, dogs, cyclists, fishermen. Car parking is not cheap but plentiful. Would highly recommend and will definitely return to explore more.

Great for a nice steady bike ride, well maintained tracks, clean toilet facilities, reasonable parking, lots of nice places to stop and have a picnic.

This is so far the best lake/reservoir we've walked round, picked a beautiful day and we loved it, will always come back again and again

Firstly 3 options to park, 3 different car parks around the lake.If you want the main one head for the one off of Buckden Road- PE28 0BHThis is the busiest side with a small cafe, toilets and children's play area. There is currently sand at the side of the lake and the aqua park is still afloat. The other 2 car parks are around the side of the village Perry - PE28 0BX. Turn at the corner of the bend in the road for the one with the cafe and toilets. These ones I always find less busy by far. There is still a cafe and toilets here.A pub available in the village along the main road. From all 3 car parks you can walk around the lake. .the lake is 9.9 miles all the way around..Mostly flat although through the trees and fields yes there are around 4 hills, one is quite steep.Good walking shoes/boots recommended.Car park charges extortionate at £1.90 for one hour then jumping up to £4 for 3 hours.......Ridiculous!!Can be paid for by cash or card.Water currently very low ( Sept 2022).Dogs allowed off lead. Many people picnic.Children allowed off lead too.TIP - when walking around check the direction of the wind...if you're walking/biking around the dam against the wind its very open and quite harsh !

Grafham Water is a lovely place for a walk at any time of the year.It has a little cafe you can refuel at, or simply grab a coffee and look at the reservoir or watch the world pass by.Peaceful and relaxingA great place to get outside.

The over commercialisation of this place will eventually ruin it. The management need to remember, people visit because of the nature and the beauty. It’s nice to have activities too, but stuck to your USP. Once you have destroyed all the nature to make bellow par, over priced activities people will stop coming and go to a proper activity centre. I spent over £40 on essentially nothing. The coffee was from a self serve machine, the crazy golf was rubbish, the car park was extremely expensive. There are much better nature reserves and much better activities for less money.

Absolutely gorgeous scenery! Open grass spaces, woodland, water and sand. An abundance of wildlife, a variety of signposted walkways of varying distances. We walked the entire circumference of the reserve, not realising that this was 10 miles! Heavy going for an unexpected walk of that distance but very enjoyable. We will certainly be returning and strongly recommend that you visit too!

Beautiful reservoir, not too crowded and lovely on a sunny day! Ample parking space.
