Always beautiful and picturesque. Shame about the visitors who think it is acceptable to look through the cottage windows and don't pick up their dog mess.

Visit the Brookside Pub situated by the brook and follow the paths along side the brook while crisscrossing the small foot bridges to take a step back in time.Barkby is a village almost untouched by time and worth exploring.

It's a nise walk in the summer gets a bit muddy in the winter. Dog loves running around like a little lunatic after taking a dip to cool down.
