The staff are super knowledgeable and really helpful. The store is every kid's dream, it's an emporium of models, and it seems to have everything from fully built kits, build it yourself sets, to all the model diy parts you can think of. A proper model specialists. So happy I went there. Came away with my first RC car and now building it at home together with my 12 year old son.

I have dealt with this shop several times, usually ending up on the phone, the staff I have spoken too have always been friendly and very helpful. Models have been dispatched the same day via Parcel Force Express 24 and received the following day.In my most recent purchase from the company the model arrived damaged. I immediately rang the store up, explained the situation, they requested photos of the damage, which I supplied.They phoned me back within 10 minutes offering to send out a replacement.In my opinion, the shop and its Staff go the extra mile to ensure Customer satisfaction. I cannot recommend this store Highly enough.

Quite brilliant. Have bought two RC cars from these guys. Friendly, knowledgeable and first class customer service. This level of customer service went a long way when I had an issue with the second car. The team there rallied round and identified the fault (faulty part) and replaced it with no fuss. A credit to independent retailers and why we need to support them. Thank you

Terrific bunch of guys, terrific shop.I'm lucky to have these chaps a 5 minute walk from my house. Everything in the shop is cheaper than it is on eBay and you'll end up with the right thing first time. My wife and I went in the week before Christmas this year to get my son his first proper RC car, we got some great advice and bought the lad a proper decent car for sensible money. He was absolutely made up on Christmas day.

With the demise of LSA Models in Hove, SMC is the last 'proper' model shop standing, on the South Coast. All the kits and paint you will ever need, including some nicely obscure models, plus an equally impressive RC selection, if that's your bag.

Purchased new props & spinner for my crashed bush plane. Great price and service from SMC.Just needs a bit of filler and a lick of paint to fully restore. I'll have a test flight first just to check over.The incident happened on its ninth flight...slow low fly past through a rugby post, clipped a wing tip, crash bang wallop lol......lesson learned!@the_pennine_paraglider
