Zaytoona Moroccan Restaurant
One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Portsmouth, hands down! The food was impeccable, the lamb shashlik was so flavourful. The chef was super friendly and came out to ask us how the food was. The service was incredible and the waiters were so lovely. They’re also pet friendly and really well priced. Will definitely be coming back here again!!

A wonderful evening spent with colleagues. The food was delicious. I had a lamb tagline with couscous and I loved it. The service was excellent and we were a big group.Will definitely return soon.

Zaytoona Moroccan Restaurant
It's a new spot and we decided to give it a try. The decor was clean, fresh and uncomplicated. We hadn't booked a table for us but we were welcomed and seated swiftly. The guy up front was amicable, calm and well spoken. The drinks menu had a good range of soft drinks wines and spirits, and I found most to be appropriately priced. The menu was just right. There were enough dishes to showcase Moroccan cuisine but not too much to overwhelm you. The food was brought to the table by the chef, which was a nice personal touch. The portion sizes were just right. We had some mint tea and baclava, and everything tasted pretty good. Overall we were quite pleased with everything. If they can keep up with this level of service, I am sure Zaytoona will stay in the Southsea food scene for a very long time.

Was hosted here as a party of 15 and the food and service was on point throughout! Brought out an amazing selection of starters with the best hummus I've ever tasted. And the the mains to follow were delicious! Run by a family who put everything in making sure their customers have a good experience! 10/10 recommend!

Came here earlier in the week on my own for lunch and was very impressed with the beautiful interior, excellent service, delicious shashlik and Arabic music. I was back with Mum on Saturday night to try their dinner menu. Thank you for recommending the pastilla to start, it was lovely and something we had never come across. For the main we had a lamb tagine and sea bass tagine, both had lots of flavour and felt really authentic. Dessert we had ice cream, which was very nice. I almost forgot the wine! We both thought that is was so lovely for you to offer us a glass of red wine on the house and the chef came out to see how everything was (offering to take a photo of us with his fez!). You will pay slightly more, but what you get is quality. We will be back to try more of the menu.

The food was fulfilling yet I didn't feel bloated, it was fresh and it felt like something I had never tasted before. Quiet simply extraordinary. Great service and excellent manners, special shout out to Sammy!

I came here for dinner with a friend , we received excellent service and the tastiest food , I often go to Morocco and the dishes were absolutely delicious and reminded me of the tagines of the souk , I am having lunch here now its just as good as I came for dinner , I will be coming more often!

It was our first visit to Zaytoona Restaurant. The food was delicious. The staff were very friendly and professional. Eissa in particular made us feel very welcome and provided a 5 star service. We will definitely be back in the new year. I highly recommend.

Incredible restaurant. A last minute choice on a Friday night, and very pleased we decided to eat here.From the great welcome, to the attentive service and delicious food, I can’t fault Zaytoona.Well priced, and flavourful food. Everything was just perfect, all set inside a lovely atmosphere.Already planning when I go back next!
