I chose Steve as my personal trainer in November  and since then I have seen many positive results, not only in my weight loss/body shape but also in my energy levels, confidence in the gym and overall mind-set toward health and fitness!The initial consultation & goal setting process with Steve was very thorough . I have my measurements taken regularly , my nutritional calories tweaked and am extremely pleased with the progress I've achieved in only a few months.I have regular training sessions & my training plan is updated. Steve is very helpful always giving constructive feedback. Each aspect of my training and nutritional plan is very person centred, focussed on my goals & is easy for me to maintain around my work schedule.I would definitely recommend Steve @ HOL-FIT you won't regret training with him.

Highly recommendedI started training with Steve a couple of months ago. New to the world of personal training I didn’t know what to expect. Steve’s commitment to tailoring a health and fitness regime covers setting personal goals, advising on diet and, of course a workout to suit my goals - which in my case were weight loss and general fitness. Following a back injury, Steve adapted the sessions to focus on strengthening exercises and my back is stronger than it has been in years. As someone who is not always self-motivated, Steve’s quiet, yet determined attitude pushes me further than I would do in a gym. I would recommend!

As a middle aged gent I was looking of ways to avoid the middle age spread, keep fit and active in order to be the best version of myself. I had gotten out of shape & run down like most over the lockdown period to the point where I knew I had to do something about it.A friend of mine trains with Steve, they achieved amazing results so I thought I would have to give his personal training a go myself. I’ve been training with Steve for a few months now and couldn’t recommend him more. My diet is cleaner and tracked, and I have accountability on our weekly training sessions which I feel I get the most from. His home studio is well equipped with strength and conditioning kit, it’s a non-judgemental space and Steve is very knowledgeable as well as personable.In this short amount of time I’ve notice my energy sore, my waistline reduce and my entire body firm up, I’m feeling more confident in social occasions to boot. Long may it continue!

I started with Steve by contacting him online. From having minimal experience in the gym Steve was able to set up a plan for me to train with him twice a week to reach the goals set out at the beginning. I have since gained experience and increased confidence with training within the gym. Steve is easy to get along with and is very approachable. He has a whole load of useful tips regarding training and diet, and I found his explanations of different exercises and the muscle groups it involves useful. Overall it has been a positive experience training with Steve and would definitely recommend.

I am a professional female, and I was looking for body fat reduction and lean muscle gain through resistance training.I was very lucky to find Stephen.In my first four weeks, following prescribed nutrition targets whilst training three times a week, I have lost 4.5kg and 12cm from my waist. I could have not achieved this without Steve.Steve is approachable, relaxed and professional. I like that he explains the benefit of a particular exercise and I greatly appreciate Steve’s holistic approach. He encourages me, makes me do my best every time, while keeping everything manageable and fun.Steve is a dedicated trainer who does not use ‘one way fits all’ approach. Excellent service and training.Steve is extremely knowledgeable and has created a tailored training plan that is helping me achieve my goals within the military. I see Steve for Personal Training twice a-week and the plan includes strength training, circuits and HIIT sessions. This has enabled me to achieve a new personal best on squat with better form.The sessions are enjoyable and challenging at the same time. I noticed significant changes in a matter of weeks with a combination of the PT sessions and nutritional plan. Steve is easy to chat with and I would highly recommend him and Hol-Fit to anyone.

I’d had some gym experience before approaching Steve but without any significant progress, I was looking for a PT that would oversee my workout routine and how do I perform the exercises. Steve adapted the nutrition and training sessions to achieve my goals – losing overall fat whilst improving my strength. That has helped me to lose 7cm from my waist in several weeks without any extreme diet, gain lean muscles and get into shape for my wedding. He has also implemented some postural correction exercises following the initial postural & flexibility assessment. I appreciate his holistic approach and would recommend him to anyone willing to have serious progress.

From the first phone call Steve's friendly and calm manner put my mind at ease about my personal training preconceptions. We have become great allies in my fight to find my waistline again. I have been overweight for over 10 years, never sticking to healthy eating or exercise but with Steve's help I have completely changed my lifestyle and I feel so much better for it!I train with Steve doing early mornings 3 times per week, which works around my work schedule. He's been very flexible to suit my needs. We've been training in outdoor public spaces initially but now I can finally use Steve's complete home gym. It's very impressive with loads of strength & conditioning equipment. Working 1-2-1 with Steve gives me focus, accountability and most importantly encouragement. He pushes me to a level that he knows I can handle in order to get the best from my training.Speaking of results since working with Steve in my first 12 weeks I've lost 10kg (over 1.5 stone of pure body fat). I've also gaining metabolically active muscle. I've noticed my face slim, i've dropped two dress sizes, my waste is narrowing and my bum has lifted. All my friends have complimented me on my dramatic change in body shape. It's a real boost to know the work is paying off.I've been getting stronger too. From a body weight squat to a 70kg deadlift for 12 reps and a kneeling press up to 32kg bench press for 12 reps. I now have aspirations to be in the HOL-FIT Hall of Fame for females that can execute 100kg+ deadlifts.After implementing consistent training and other beneficial nutritional/lifestyle advice ftom Steve, I now feel I have more energy, better moods, better sleep, enjoy being more active (not out of breath) and my lifes perspective has completely transformed. My mental health was in a sorry state when we first met and I now can't remember the last time I felt this happy and stable.I can't thank Steve enough, he has got me not only enduring exercise but enjoying it too. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Give it a go, you won't regret it.

I started my weigtloss and toning journey with Steve about 8 weeks ago and I have had the best experience with great progress so far. I was looking for a personal trainer that could work around my work schedule and lifestyle. After the initial consultation Steve has been very accommodating, showing that he'll go the extra. Before working with Steve, I had a hard time going to the gym alone due to anxiety, but as I've been coached and taught I've gained a massive boost to my confidence in exercising which appears to be spreading into other areas of life. He is a down-to-earth PT who is always there for his clients, he explains everything in depth and never makes me feel out of place. when I am training with him, whenever I have a question about the training plan or nutrition, he always provides. I have been with previous PTs in the past but I have never had the same body transforming results with them that I am seeing with Steve. If you live near Lincoln and are looking for an amazing experienced PT with their own training space, Steve is your go-to man.

10/10 would recommend!I've been training with Steve for around 6 months and never had a personal trainer before that! He has really helped me to improve my posture and mobility issues. I never thought I would be able to do a squat before and now I can with weights. He has helped me to be stronger, passed on knowledge and built me a fun (yet demanding) gym routine.I believe that no matter what level of fit you are, Steve is the perfect guy to motivate you and help you reach those goals! He has been wonderful and I truly look forward to keeping working with him.
