Such a great experience. Amazing services from start to finish. They had my boat for a week to blacken the hull. They did other work needed too and charged a very small amount for this. They allowed us to visit the boat through all the stages. They couldn’t have been more accommodating. Highly recommended

Great friendly team. Always has what you need. They have every nut, bolt, connecter, hook or anything else you could need for your boat. Most stuff you can buy in singles in little boxes around one room. Has a crane and a dry Dock. Can do diy blacking there Always a great price on fuel.

Where else can you buy a snickers next to your sikaflex?! I didn’t use the boatyard services, but the little shop here has everything you might need from anodes to windlasses. There’s a small range of practically everything, whether you need a whole new toilet or a brass sign to mark your diesel tank.

Was worried to visit the boat centre because of some of the bad reviews but I must say in my experience there is no truth at all to them. We just had our survey done and they couldn't be more helpful and great value for money, they also fixed our broken tiller for a fraction of the price we has been quoted by river canal rescue. Really friendly service and couldn't have done more for us. Will definitely use again.

Always has what I need, sometimes prices a little over what I wanted to pay but well stocked. Owner is very knowledgeable. You can book your boat for blacking, new anodes or being worked on in some other way.Recommended!

How very rude the owner is!I would agree with other comments that Liz is amazing and really helpful, although I felt that communication from the rest of the team was lacking (I wasn't told where to find light switches, water points etc. and left outside on the morning of dry-docking wondering what the plan was).The team did however get the job done and cannot fault them.The owner who I was later told was called Alan failed to introduce himself and instead took it upon himself to bark orders at me throughout the week as he strode by. I was told that he is a bit of a nasty character, but was still shocked when leaving at the way he spoke to me and that he had the audacity to try and intimidate me, getting into my personal space and speaking down to me.AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Not only are there no showers and the prices are higher than anywhere else, but I don't feel that any paying customer should be spoken to in the way that the owner thinks he can get away with. I've heard similar stories and I urge you to vote with your feet.

I have used UBC for over 25 years. For boat supplies, chandlery and repairs. Just out of dock after a week, on time with all repairs and blacking completed. V happy to recommend the team. They have the expertise and facilities to do the work you can’t do yourself. They do hard and skilled work for a fair price in my experience.

I bought a small (10 mts.) plywood canal boat there in 1985, I think it was. It needed a lot of work and they let me live in it, at the yard, while I fixed it up. Fantastic experience! A free course in boat building I couldn't have gotten anywhere at any price. No boat yard in the world would have let me do that, except Uxbridge. I can never repay them for the experience. Just great people. After launching the boat, I took it out the Thames to Ramsgate and across to Ostend, and from there I spent a leisurely two years traversing the Belgian and French canals and rivers (including breaking the ice in the dead of winter at Thuin) until I arrived at Pontoise, near Paris, where I remained for seven uears. Most fantastic and wonderful period of my life, all thanks to the Uxbridge Boat Centre!

We just came out of the dry dock at Uxbridge Boat Centre.The guys did a great job and all the staff there is lovely and very professional.We highly recommend it!
