Tesla Centre Guildford

Do not buy a Tesla. I'm a petrol head, and I converted to Tesla as they make some of the best cars I've ever driven. While the car really is great, and I have spoken to some lovely individuals in Guildford service centre, dealing with Tesla service is extremely frustrating and ineffective. Tesla are systematically uninterested in dealing with issues and communicating with customers - nothing like any other car brand (non-luxury or luxury). Ryanair are known for abrasive and unapologetic service, and this experience is the same. For example there is no way of contacting the service centre directly, you have to call customer service who send a message on the service centre. These messages to Guildford service centre are routinely ignored, so nothing happens, all deadlines are missed without communication and the only recourse is to call customer services again and send another message which is ignored. You can't book the car in, can't speak to someone, can't book a courtesy car, can't have any communication at all unless it follows known issues in the tesla app (none of mine have). All the while, your car isn't functional and you have no idea how to resolve the problem. I have interacted with Tesla service more than once, and my experience is consistent (new battery pack, car was registered as the wrong model at the DVLA, and serious vibration comparable to a loose rear wheel assembly). Each time, the process of dealing with the service centre was so bad that I tried to make an official complaint, but there is no possible workflow by phone email or letter to make a complaint in the UK. Tesla make wonderful cars, I bought two new ones and had another on order. Though would love to buy another new tesla dealing with the service centre means that I will have to choose a different car brand and recommend all my friends do the same. I'd sell my current car, but it's registered at the DVLA as a lower priced model, I've been working with Tesla for 4 months on that and can't even sell it until it gets resolved. Don't buy a tesla, it's a a huge headache and the automotive engineering just isn't worth the hassle.

Quick and easy with service appointments through the app, just turn up, park and that is it. Having direct messaging with the service tech in the app is very helpful to describe issues. I can see how the Tesla experience won't be for everyone but being able to schedule your own appointments and quickly is a nice change from other manufacturers.

AVOID… Or buy one to experience the the worst customer experience ever!Our car arrived with multiple defects and the team at Peasmarsh / Guildford have been a nightmare to deal with. Frankly disorganised, dismissive and generally unhelpful.Once the vehicle is sold they have zero interest/ need or want to address known issues including dents chips scratches and torn interior materials. Don’t trust the sales team and don’t rely on their service team helping you after you’ve paid. Fairly tragic experience meaning I won’t be buying a second car as intended.

One of the worst experience I ever got with a car dealer, I think people who work at Tesla Guilford they need training 100%, I bought a car, model X, paid £50k was reserved online and I went after 2 week to collect, they did not even bother to clean the car, dust everywhere, inside leather dirty, not even charged at full capacity in the day I collected.On the day of collection I told them is my first time I am driving or buy an electric car, they did not care, not showing how to charge, or how to start-stop the car, they only show me that you can close and open the boot and doors from the car key.Maybe dealers located in other parts of the country are different, but this centre, they don`t care about the customers.As well on the day of collection nobody was there, I need to wait 30 minutes until someone will show up to ask anything.On top of that they put the wrong adaptor in my car, and now I can`t charge the car at supercharge points.If you need to travel even 100 miles to deal with some tesla representatives, I will advice to avoid this dealer located in Guilford at any costs.

I've suffering with Tesla over the last 6 months due to unsafe driving in the model YYou should look to the left and perform multiple steps to turn lights on and to turn the screen wipers on which is not reasonable because I have kids and I feel it's unsafeI have been forced to book a service in order for someone from the technical support to come and the who come said you are rightthen he replied when he left that 'Customer's Concerns Resolved'But it's not resolved and it was strange from him that his response is not in line with the whole visit and the concerns not resolved at all!Now my issues are all still there and my concerns are not resolved which already been delivered to Guilford centre at the date of the purchase but no body documented my concerns now I feel that I have been unfairly treated and I need a fair solutionTheir replies to my emails are very blunt like: please look at the manual and get uae to it!I need a solution

The service offered by Steve, Ian and Adele at Guildford Tesla has been superb. From the initial meet and allowing me to test drive a bet of cars to the ordering and delivery of my new Tesla. Superb and I will highly recommend them. The long term loan car before mine arrived was extremely appreciated
