Print2Demand - P2D Books Ltd

We came across Print2Demand a few weeks ago after my husband had been badly let down by his previous publisher/printer and we needed a quick turnaround for his fifth poetry collection (David Burridge - Ramblings of a Gentle Pragmatist). We decided to self-publish for the first time, and Bob could not have been more helpful! From sending the very useful book about self-publishing to answering all our questions over the phone, Bob supported us all the way. We felt we were dealing with a very professional and human organisation. However, what really blew us away was the speed with which they turned around the book. It arrived well before the deadline we had agreed and a whole week before the date that the website had given for delivery. We will certainly use Print2Demand again. They are a pleasure to do business with - and the price is very reasonable, too.

As a small, part-time publisher, I have been using P2D for many years now (they were previously under a different name) and I would never use anyone else. Both Dale and Bob are very pro-active and always on hand to answer queries or offer advice. The Kindle version of my debut novel ‘Gryff: If you can’t beat them’ is available on Amazon but I needed a printer to produce a small quantity of paperbacks as gifts for family and friends. I had no previous experience of buying printing services. I visited P2D’s website, and I requested a free copy of P2D’s information book ‘A guide to book printing and publishing’. My initial order was for only 10 books but the service I received could not have been any better if I had ordered 1000 copies. The whole process was simple and straightforward. I needed help to produce the cover of my book and P2D put me in touch with a third party who produced the cover for me.I am extremely proud of my book, and I was anxious to ensure that the quality and finish of the paperback reflected the hard work that I had put into writing it. I need not have worried. My order was produced on time and when I received my copies, I could not have been more pleased. The quality and the finish of the final product is second to none and felt very proud as I signed the dedications and handed out the copies to family and friends.The paperback has received such a good response that I am now considering placing a much larger order for copies to sell. Also, I am currently working on the sequel to my book, and I will definitely be placing my order with P2D for the paperback copies.
