Brilliant company its says it all really

my complaint is not against this branch, but it is vitally important for all gmb members & officials to be aware of the disgraceful treatment dished out to one of their fellow members , and the complete disregard for the founding principles of the trade union movement & the union rule book, displayed by one regional & one branch secretary from the Birmingham & west midlands region.Due to the poor conduct of the unions legal firm ( Tinsdills ) I was forced to make an official complaint. With-out viewing all evidence or even interviewing me, Regional sec , Joe morgan, ruled against me and informed me that I had exhausted the unions complaint procedure ( blatant lie ) and closed down my complaint, only to be forced to re-open it a few weeks later , when I initiated a rule six appeal. This was passed to Stoke on trent branch Sec , Sharon Yates , who for ten weeks , sat on her hands and did nothing . I sent her two letters ( special delivery ) and received no reply, I emailed her - she ignored it, eventually I lost patience and reported her to GMB Euston office and a few weeks later, she emailed me and informed me that she had held my rule six hearing two weeks previous and had ruled against me. Sharon Yates , in complete breach of the union rule book, had held my rule six appeal hearing behind my back, and denied me my right, as a union member , to provide my evidence and put my case to the branch committee - so much for union democratic values, Transparency, and fairness.I then made an official complaint of gross-misconduct against Morgan & Yates to general secretary , Tim Roache , and asked him to investigate my complaint , failing that to expel me from the union, which would enable me to complain to the government certification officer, but he would do neither . The general secretary stated that this was clearly a regional matter and passed my complaint back to the individual , who was responsible for this debacle , in the first place - Joe morgan, and in effect he was allowing morgan to rule over a complaint against himself for gross-misconduct, this is a complete breach of the founding principles of the union movement & and is an utter disgrace !.Because I was denied my rights as a union member and was being stone-walled by union officials, I was put in a position where I had no alternative but to commit the cardinal sin of confronting my own trade union online . No support at all with a serious work issue, over 4 weeks with zero correspondence, and after chasing dave 4/5 times, said he would call back and didn't, i was given no advise before a serious meeting......i must say i was extremely disappointed
