Charlotte was a fabulous reassuring additional support after the birth of our 2nd child in April. She responded to my initial enquiry really promptly and we had arranged a zoom call to get to intro ourselves properly before the birth, but we had to cancel as I went into labour! She visited a number of times in the weeks following the birth and was on hand anytime via WhatsApp for ad hoc questions as they arose, which I was really grateful for. Every visit felt calm, unhurried and like you were talking to a friend, so I had the chance to raise things or ask questions that I wouldn’t have ordinarily done during the regular nhs midwife visits. Charlotte has helped me so much. I had a previous stillbirth and was so anxious during my most recent pregnancy as a result. Every new parent should be made to feel at ease with the changes that are happening in their new life and that is exactly how Charlotte made myself and my husband feel. She looked after me and the birth of my 2 children with care and consideration.I had a birth plan in mind and Charlotte supported me through it and advised if she needed to. I felt charlottes kind nature and caring personality shone through every step of pre and post natal care and couldn’t recommend her highly enough.

I booked to see Charlotte for an antenatal appointment for extra reassurance. She was very kind, reassuring and I was incredibly impressed with her knowledge and expertise. I am a particularly nervous person and she put me right at ease. Definitely recommend and I will be going back for additional appointments.

A huge thank you to Charlotte who helped my husband and I to feel more confident and clued-in about birth (and what comes after)! I genuinely feel that having the knowledge Charlotte gave us in her sessions significantly contributed to my positive birth experience. She also came by for a 1:1 session to help with breastfeeding and do a mini birth debrief a week or so after we got home from the birth centre; which I highly recommend. After a truly traumatising time in hospital, coming home I was absolutely broken.My baby had lost a lot of their birth weight and the idea of going back to hospital filled me with fear. I had booked an appointment with Charlotte initially as a check in but that dramatically took a turn. Charlotte was the calm in the storm for us. She helped us come up with a feeding plan for that evening to ensure we wouldn’t need to be readmitted and would tide us over till we could meet with our LC. She accessed the feed and agreed that we needed some more formal support as the baby had a suspected tongue tie. I felt so lost, as a first time mum I was a wreck but Charlotte was very reassuring and filled me with the confidence I needed to keep going. Those early days are so hard but she stayed in touch with us and really cared. We were able to ask every silly question we had and were reassured that any questions we had were valid and was more than happy to give us as much time as we needed with her. I will forever remember her support in that difficult time. I would 100% recommend her to anyone having a baby. Unfortunately our health system doesn’t allow for the personalised care and for a very reasonable price and with very little notice Charlotte was a huge source of support for our family.

Neither my husband nor I have family very close by, so I felt very reassured to have Charlotte on standby for post-natal care. She was responsive, kind, supportive and answered all my questions with patience and explanations.
