What a fantastic place for Adults and children alike. Was in Guildford and went to have a look. thre was some sort of festival going on. Amazing atmosphere and a book shop and cafe there too.

Great place to moor in our narrowboat. Lots of local history in the museums on site. Feels very safe as site is locked at night.

Parking is expensive at £5 (free is National Trust member) but that’s one set price and you don’t pay anything for entry, so it’s totally worth it. Signal is terrible so if you can’t get on Ringo, go to the cabin to pay.We went through the exhibitions (small, interactive, quick but lovely) then down to a beautiful bookshed! The shed has lots of preloved books that are so wonderful and peculiar! The money raised from the sale of books goes towards the riverways. We didn’t have time to do the walk too sadly but apparently it’s beautiful. There is a tearooms with toilets & a garden.
