Service great, staff very polite. Family friendly. We had:• Chicken satay - recommend.• Mie goreng - generous portion, asked for mild to share with toddler, but maybe as a result this was bland in comparison to similar we've had elsewhere.• Beef rendang - great flavour and tender, but very small portion for price.• Rice - generous portion.

Their prices are about the same (£10 to £14) like other Asian restaurants. I would recommend the bakso, sate and mie jawa (this is the Chef's special menu). Courteous staffs. Atmosphere is average. Will be back again to try other dishes.

I was intrigued by this new Indonesian place in London and was willing to try as it is hard to find an authentic Indonesian food in London. This place did not disappoint. First I came here the maduranese duck wasn’t on the menu but the owner offered me, and since then it’s always my go-to. My best recommendation are the goat and chicken satay and the duck!!! I can’t describe them in details, they’re just delicious and authentic.

Great food - well cooked fresh ingredients in excellent portions, full of flavour and authenticity. Very good and cheerful service in casual, open-kitchen style surroundings. We’ll definitely be going back!

Delicious Indonesian food, a cuisine which deserves to be more popular in London, including some Javanese dishes that I haven’t seen before in this country. Always a good sign when you see Indonesians eating there!I had the satay, rendang (a little sweeter than the Sumatran variety I’ve had before) and fried tempe (Tempe mendoan) - enjoyed all three a lot. The tempe was perhaps my favourite.Edited to add: I also tried the lamb (kambing Bakar) which is in the photos below- that was also delicious, up there with the Tempe actually.

Madura exceeded our expectations, which were already high! The food is just delicious. My wife and I shared the spring rolls to start. The staff accommodated my wife's request to adapt their fried noodles dish, to be vegetarian, which made a great main. I had the beef randang. We are so very pleased that another great but affordable restaurant has come to willesden green. Though unfortunately we were just too full to try one of their yummy sounding deserts...

Location great (right beside willesden library)Great outside spaceStaff pleasant (very nice people)Food terrible (to me)Price not good valueI must admit I don’t like giving bad reviews but, this place opened up recently and I was itching to try the food, it’s right next door to willesden library and was up until recently a really nice cafe bar. For weeks now I kept meaning to pop in because it’s always nice to find places near you that you can take guests to or just relax and chill. On this visit I decided to stay safe and go for what I thought I recognised. I ordered chicken wings and another dish that turned out to be even more chicken wings. The chicken wings order arrived and it was three wings with some sauce for the grand total of £7.50, absolutely over priced I even asked the guy if the order was correct. The other dish arrived and also a portion of white rice, honestly I don’t even feel like writing this review but I really was not happy with the food and I felt sick after eating it. The portion of chicken wings turned out to be hollow with something stuffed inside, the guy said it was stuffed with chicken breast, but I don’t agree I don’t know what it was but I didn’t like it for sure, so out of the three wings for £7.50 I ate one and opened the other one to look at the stuff inside and left one uneaten: the rice was not hot in fact it was luke warm. And the main chicken wing dish was to me at least not worth £10:00, I asked for it to be spicy but it was not and the taste was hard to work out. Maybe people who like Indonesian food will t ll me it’s amazing but for me it was not nice.I also orders a glass of Apple juice which came to over £3:00, not good value for money. I normally but from the Chinese a few doors away and normally pay a lot less that what I paid in this place but I will never make that mistake again. All in all this was not an enjoyable visit and the fact that I felt sick for hours later makes it worse.
