Ravensthorpe Reservoir
Great place to visit if you only want a short walk. No footpaths but ground is easy to walk on.Car park quite small, not very well signposted.

Ravensthorpe Reservoir
This is a lesser known reservoir in Northants. Its very beautiful with plenty of wildlife. This also means that it has a lot less noise pollution which is really good for mental health. However, I have visited after a few days of rain and last week we had snow. The mud makes it quite difficult to have a relaxing walk. It is so slippery. I took my two dogs too and they are absolutely filthy. I will be back in the dryer months as it is beautiful. It quite hard to park using Google Maps. Try putting Coton car park in to find it.

A really nice little walk around place, it's the no1. Walk in Northampton area in my list. Also the half around there has toilet available.

Ravensthorpe Reservoir
Lovely place to have a relaxed walk, or dog walk. Well maintained footpaths, lots of nature, woods and birds, as well as fishing boats for those that fish. Really tranquil and a great place for a bit of photography if that's your thing.

Ravensthorpe Reservoir
A really super find, very tranquil peaceful space to sit and reflect. There is a small car park off the Coton Road at the far side of the Reservoir with a small picnic area and the start of the footpath around the Reservoir. An ideal place to feed the ducks too.

Nice place for a walk, dogs to be kept on leads. There is a short road walk as path doesn't go round whole lake but free car park to use.40 minutes walk at medium pace
