Kumon Maths & English

I would like to thank Maria and her team for all support, effort, passion, and kindness of teaching my girls - Raya Y6 & Alexandra Y3. The girls joined Kumon 2 years ago and I can see the great effect of these Maths sessions. Their thinking is quicker, their organizational skills improved, they are more open to challenges, they are much more disciplined and confident in their studies. I believe the way Kumon works helped my kids not just with the simple calculation and repetition of the maths methods, but developing other skills as well. Highly recommend Maria and her team as they give everything and support kids on higher above the standards level. Maria continued doing this during the pandemic period through the Zoom sessions and we hope to see you again in class soon.

Maria is a very thoughtful teacher!! Her lessons were useful and she is very patient with everyone in class always encouraging her students to try. My daughter start to love maths and every day to try more. In one year she changed everything! I would highly recommend the Kumon maths and English to anyone interested in learning!!

My kids are 15 years old and 11 years old. And have been going to Dr Maria Woodford for a number of months now, studying Kumon Math and English.Dr Maria Woodford has a very calm and progressive way about the way she conducts hers pupils, and the lessons She is the ultimate professional and sincerely drives the best out of my two kids.As far as I can see she strives to get the best out all the kids no matter what age the children are.It's certainly is the best money I've spent on my kid's.I personally wish her well for the future as I'm sure if you enrolled your kids you would praise her alsoDennis Reed

My daughter start kumon waterlooville centre a few months now after struggling with her reading and confidence with her work but I must say now she has shown so much interest and her self confidence towards her work has improved. Maria and her team is definitely doing a great job. My daughter is now more focus and starts to work independently .Thanks Maria .Odessa

Maria has been brilliant right from the start with my child. She made him feel welcome to the class and made Kumon exciting by being so positive and giving out lots of praise for even the smallest task. Even during lockdown she made a huge effort to keep the children in a schedule in a zoom class and my child has thrived and loved being a part of this each week.

Both of my children have gone to Kumon. My daughter used to go for 3 years and we saw massive progress. My 6 year old son is currently doing both English and Maths and is doing really well. Kumon is great for improving discipline and speed.

Maria is a great lady. Two of my children attended the Kumon classes and it definitely helped to improve their maths skills.

My daughter started taking extra English Language lesson at Kumon Waterlooville Study Centre because her reading was behind most of her classmates. Since starting at the Study Centre in April 2016, there has been a massive improvement in her reading. In July 2017, she won an independent reader's award at School.Thanks to Dr. Maria Woodford's Kumon teaching method, my daughter's reading ability is improving as she progresses through the Kumon English Programme.

My children are aged 8 and 5. The eldest started Kumon when she was at Reception in 2014 with the help of Kumon,she was moved up to Year 1 in the first term at Reception as the school claimed that she's ahead of Reception and they don't want to slow her down. With the dedication and commitment to the work she does at Kumon she has broke the school academic records on several Occasions. The younger one also was moved to Yr 1 in his class just in 2weeks in Reception. The School can't praise the success and the pace the kids are going enough. Dr Maria Woodruff knows it better,very efficient, calm and reliable. She understands every child's needs and knows how to deal with it. Have introduced lots of families to this study Centre and they never looked back.
