My Wok Box
An authentic, cosy little Malaysian cafe owned by a proud, kind uncle. Expansive menu but we opted for the classic Nasi Lemak with Chicken Rendang, and Roti Canai with Chicken Curry.We not only enjoyed delicious Malay fare, but felt so looked after, had interesting conversations with the owner and we feel compelled to return.Note this is a cosy cafe, suitable for couples or dining solo. Some seating outside. Cannot recommend enough!

We were encouraged to sit in and what a lovely experience it was, felt like we were in their kitchen. We got to chat to them learning about their 25 year long service. What delicious food for such a great price.You made our Sunday evening with Laksa and Noddles with a side of the freshest Roti.To top it of we got free banana fritters to take home to have with peanut butter.I can’t wait to go back to this lovely place.

The best Malaysian food place in London without any doubt. The food is homely, full of flavour and cooked fresh each time. The owner is super friendly and accommodating for food preferences (vegetarian/vegan). I would highly recommend to anyone in the area, and would come back again.

My first time although I have noticed it in my regular travels to Kilburn.Easy to find, it is just by the side of Kilburn Tube Station.Friendly & fast service and the husband & wife owners have been in the business more than 20 yrs.See my review on the food we ordered.Prices are reasonable and the best part is that you get to speak with the cook/owner who are more than glad to recommend you dishes to order and how they should be cooked.

I've been here three times and the uncle and auntie are always super duper friendly and serve such nice food! The shop has a really unassuming exterior but it's like a treasure trove of Malaysian food inside. They really go out of their way to make you feel at home and serve you whatever food you're missing from home. I'll work harder on my Bahasa Melayu!!

Simply put, your bucket list is incomplete until you’ve tried this incredible little restaurant.Chef Mo welcomed us like long term locals and served up the most authentic roti & chicken curry, beef rendang with coconut saffron rice, and teh tarik. You just can’t find food this delicious at a price like this (£10 per main) in London anymore, and it’s conveniently right next to Kilburn station. Throw in some good stories from the Chef about Sabah and durian, and I’d give it 9 out of 5 stars if I could.Do yourself a favour and go see Chef Mo and Chef Wan pronto. Whatever they cook you will serve whatever ails you.Terima kasih Chefs — we’ll be back very soon to try the gado gado and laksa.

Had lunch here two days in a row. The loveliest pakcik and makcik (uncle and aunty) super friendly! The food is very authentic Malaysian (think mamak style) and priced very reasonably. Will recommend to friends in London!
