Bait & tackle shop

A friend recommended AD to me. I've been living in S.Wales for ten years and I recently decided to start fishing again. I was going to support the local fishing shop but my mate steered me toward AD instead. So glad he did!My employer gives me a £200 Well Being" bonus every year so I decided to put it towards a brand new fishing kit

wheres my stuff !! ordered two weeks ago phoned twice and was told its been posted out Friday its now Wednesday, still no sign !!

Fantastic range of equipment, quality bait, always good advice about what to buy from experienced Anglers. The team are really supportive to new Anglers and help them buy what they need. There's always a bargain to be had as well with discounts off certain brands and a bin full of reduced goodies. They've become my first choice for the majority of my fishing tackle. Can't recommend highly enough.

We had a fishing party for my six year old son here last week. The location is just off the A69 and easy to find. There is plenty of parking, although don't park near to the big lake as you'll get your car hit by an angler casting off.The staff were very helpful and patient, all equipment was provided and they made sure my Son caught a fish. The kids had a good time, although there was a lot of standing around and I wouldn't recommend it for smaller children. The adults enjoyed it too and it was reasonably priced.Overall it was good. Only criticisms I could make were that the food could have been better, the pizzas being a bit soggy and the chicken drumsticks didn't look appetizing. I would recommend bringing your own party picnic boxes.Also the path round the pond is lined with gravel on top, which is missing in places which meant it was a bit slippery. I lost my footing and fell over, as did at least one other adult.

A great place to get friendly advice and to stock up on kit. The owner also fixed my seized reel that I flooded with seawater. Much appreciated.

Lovely little cafe over looking a little fishing pond. Food was very good, well worth a visit.

Absolute shocking after care service. Bought some vass boots from Wroxham and wore them for 3 hours in the torrential rain and they leaked so much so my feet were literally in puddles. After this they absolutely stank like fishing nets and piss considering they had only been worn first time and was still brand new I was met with no help from the manager in store. He said to me it was my fault getting them wet and no poor build quality or the fact the rain was hammering down had nothing to do with it. Also was told because I had wore them there was nothing he could do which I replied how are you meant to know something is faulty until used .I wanted a refund especially as they was only 2 days old but was told no it was all fault and they will not help. I took them to angling direct in Colchester and told the people the same and was met with nothing but good service and was promptly refunded my money which is to be expected as they was 2 days old and clearly were faulty. Basically because it was a Sunday and the manager is an absolute knob he couldn’t be bothered to do his job absolute shocking service from a so called angling enterprise.
