The White Swan, Southampton
Came for a Christmas meal, service was great although waitress trying to help us was hindered by another member of staff. Meat was quite dry and chef kept disappearing who was serving, none of the carvery was labelled with allergies. Overall was okay but previous visits have been better

The table was dirty and still not clean when we asked for it to be cleaned.We waited ages for are drinks and when they arrived the coffee was cold so they had to go and get another .The potatoes had black bits in and were not very nice and the gravy had no taste to it and the floor was covered in food under the table it was very noticeable and can't find staff when you needed someone but the meat was nice thank you olivia

A friend brought me here to try the place. It's very good, very meat-and-potatoes type place with inoffensive, home cooking flavors. It reminds me of a couple restaurants from back home in the states, like Cracker Barrel.

The food as usual was very good. Service was excellent, and there was no waiting as we had previously booked. Our lunch was made even better when the bill came around as I had, thank you very much, a 50% Off Mains voucher.

Woodlands Hotel
Booked Christmas Dinner for my partner and myself.. It was Wonderful... Food Great, Service Great Value Excellent, Staff Very helpful and friendly.Gan, He had the whole place running like a well oiled ship...He even helped serve out meals and take orders as well as making sure all his team was making our day,, Very Special.

Merry Go Round, Greene King Pub & Carvery
Standard place to get a carvery. A little bit of a mix up when getting drinks, I had looked at the drinks menu and asked for this at the bar, they were confused what I was asking for so I had to change what I ordered. Nice enough carvery, nothing fancy but good for a fill up at a decent price.

Tavern at the Mill
We went on a rainy dark night so didn’t see outside but inside was clean and spacious. Service was poor really more concerned with chatting to regulars and friends than seeing if new guest were ok. Carvery was possibly the smallest portions of meat able to be cut by a knife and the veg was mostly empty. Kids meal came out after we had finished our carvery and we waited for a bit before we went for our meal.Over all for the price not a great experience.

Got sat straight away, food was amazing and we both cleared our plates, technical fault with some drink systems but made sure we had plenty of other choices, definitely be going again soon!
