Chophouse restaurant

Disappointing.Went for Sunday Roast and was told the Sunday Roast menu was replaced for Xmas - fair enough. Was given the options, and when I ordered, the option was unavailable. So, ultimately went for a third choice.We ordered the sausages and mash followed by some strawberry ice cream for our daughter, and the chateaubriand 500g with mac cheese, fries, mash, peppercorn sauce and some broccoli for my partner and I.The kid's sausages were really hard. You could tell they were good meat, nice and flavoursome and good texture, but arguably, they hadn't been cooked properly.The steak was unevenly cooked too. We asked for it medium rare, but on the outside it was closer to well done, and the centre was blue - this is a serious problem for anyone ordering a steak and sides that's costing £100 for two people. In hindsight I should have handed it back, but sometimes it is awkward to do so.The mash was dry, and although it was flavoursome enough, and I could tell there was butter through it from taste, the texture was very questionable and poor. The hand-cut chips were slightly undercooked and still quite hard in the middle - which was disappointing. The broccoli with chilli and garlic was good though, but it's probably the easiest dish on the plate with some garlic oil and chilli flakes added to the pan so, not worth celebrating.I had also noted it was my wee one's birthday when booking, and not a mention of it when we were there. I know that's not mandatory but when the food isn't all that great, you half expect the service to be a bit better.So, overall was quite let down by the whole experience.

One of the most divine food experiences I’ve had. The cocktails were excellent! We had the cherry blossom and the maple old fashioned, they were perfect. The food was absolutely delicious and service was excellent! Definitely recommend if you are visiting Dublin. If I could rate more I would rate 12/10!

The Chophouse has been on my list of places to go for ages. I remember sampling the steak at Taste of Dublin.The food is top quality, it's the best meal I've had without question. I'd vote for the steak as one of the best in Ireland.Not a fancy restaurant but enjoyed a few pints and and some nice cocktails. Wine list is pretty decent too.Staff were also really nice, down to earth and plenty of chat.Such a nice touch when they brought out a cake for my wife as it was her birthday.I genuinely can't wait to come back, definitely gonna try the Sunday lunch.

Absolutely gorgeous food here.Service was lacking, but the staff were really friendly and helpful, nice to chat with.Everyone was having a good time so the atmosphere was filled with lots of laughs. Really enjoyed it here and will be coming again.

타워 브릿지 야경을 보면서 스테이크까지 먹을 수 있는 맛집입니다. 스태이크랑 같이 주문한 사이드 버섯도 맛있었고 오이스터도 좋았습니다. 그리고 무엇보다 직원분들과 한국인 사장님이 너무 친절하게 안내해 주셔서 편하게 먹을 수 있었습니다! 추천해요~

It's a shame the restaurant didn't have any fish available (no tuna or sole), so one of the members of our group had to order the cabbage (below expectations) whilst the other ordered a steak (though he wasn't in the mood for it). Make sure you order the fillet medium-rare.The young lady at the bar is a great mixologist. I'd go back just for the cocktails. The wait service gave us plenty of attention.

I have dined at Sam's a good number of time's over the years, but my last visit left me feeling underwhelmed. We stood near the restaurant waiting around 5 mins to be acknowledged, the waitress took us to a small table for 2 left side that felt cramped and boxed in, even though there was plenty of empty tables. We'd no sooner looked at the menu she was back asking was we ready to order we asked for a little more time. We both ordered the same pudding chips and peas, over priced for what it was. Took us a good while to attract someones attention for the bill with a 10 % service charge, for what as far as I'm concerned the service was sub standard we paid it but won't be in a rush to return anytime soon. Wouldn't mind it was a week day and quite.

Great food services a little slow but they were very busy. Will try breakfast next time we go.

The service is excellent, and the steaks are cooked to perfection on a proper grill, delivering a melt-in-the-mouth experience.I highly recommend the cheesecake, this is served table side with huge portions.

We were in the private dining room for a baby shower, and everything was amazing. The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was perfect for our celebrations and our lovely server Maddie went above and beyond at every opportunity. Maddie (and other staff like Ruby) were so attentive and understanding and genuinely kind- especially towards the children with us who have learning difficulties, and with us being a large group! We could not have asked for a better evening. Thank you for being such gracious hosts and a lovely venue
