We booked with friends over a birthday. Sarah and her family made us most welcome. A chilled relaxed fun time was had by all ages. Wonderful local pub for food. Fantastic memories. Had such a good sleep we overslept the checkout sarah was very understanding. YES we would stay again. Thankyou

Stayed here for new year. Very expensive for what we got. Description said sleeps 6 but living room only has a 3 seater sofa and a chair facing tv. Very difficult to control heating system either too hot or cold.Enjoyed the area but will find somewhere else to stay.

We had the best time here! Lovely welcome with fresh farm eggs :) Judith was unbelievably helpful (even buying a bed guard for our toddler) and was always around to fix any issues. The children loved feeding the chickens and playing in the backyard. Lark Rise is easily big enough for 6 people (and we had a big 4th of July party here too!) Thank you again for an awesome stay, we'll definitely be back!

Spacious accommodation overlooking the loch. Good facilities. Excellent app giving details of local walks, drives round Skye and what is available.

I booked a studio apartment here for my partner's 30th birthday and I will start with the positives;*Very comfortable bed and pillows.*Good quality television.* Nice rainfall shower.Some negatives were;*No hand soap at the sink in the bathroom.*No sink in the kitchen area so cups and glasses had to be washed in the bathroom(?!)*Very modern radiator but it was not powerful enough for the size of the room.*We did stay on a Friday night, but loud music and rowdy club goers on the street outside resulted in poor quality sleep.It was disappointing given the apartment is advertised as luxurious, yet bare minimums had been missed. Certainly not worth the money I had paid for the room; I expected a higher standard for the price.

Enjoyed Christmas here with our two dogs. Accommodation was clean and enjoyable just what we needed for our break.Would definitely book again at anytime of the year.

We stayed in the Strawhouse for an early Christmas family get together.A lovely place to stay, Christmas tree was up when we arrived, and very well insulated/heated (it was frosty outside, so that was an important one! )

If you want to get away from the madness of life, then Abbey Cwm Hir and the Happy Union is the place for you. Guarantee you will not regret it.

Beautiful formal gardens and surrounding woodland area! Lovely cafe and cake! Very accessible with the pushchair! Only open on certain days so check before you travel! They charge an entrance fee of about £2.50 per adult and £1 per child. A must visit when on Colonsay! We love it and visit every time!

We stayed at apartment 1 micklegate York superb apartment ideally situated. I must say the staff at wheelwrights were fantastic and many thanks to jerry for all your help. Will definitely be using wheelwrights again
