I understand the need for a waiting list, but do we really need to listen to such a loud and distorted loop of annoying music depressing and totally unnecessary, then, a voice (played very quietly) tells you the usual, but you grab the phone in the hope that another 25 minutes of waiting will not be necessary? this continues.........and continues...... and....... How ridiculous! this modern age, yet we have an antiquated system to go by...... very poor indeed. -10/10

Appalling service and uncaring staff who do not care about how it effects your mental health by huge back logs to do things always just wait well that is not good enough a bloody disgrace in my opinion not even apology for the stress caused . Do not use this court they dont care .

If I could give no stars or even minus I would. Complete waste of space. Blame everyone else but themselves. Can't even acknowledge emails let alone give the information requested. Inmates running asylum

There really is no help forhelping yourself. The Over complicated and under achieved courts system now sits behind an deliberate snd impenetrable contact stem.

Total scam company. Organised crime. Supporting dodgy parking companies.Sent me a letter that arrived 3 weeks after the date on it (CCTV proof of arrival) stating I had 2 weeks to reply. Obviously impossible so judgement gone against me before first letter even turned up. Costs as much to fight it as it does to just pay it. Scum. Complete scum. And licensed by the UK government... what a surprise! Disgusting.

What an appalling place. Staff unhelpful. Nobody answer the phone. My important documents lost even though I posted through their letterbox. My emails went unanswered and as a result the judgement was in favour of the other party. The judge was very much critical of us, the wife and I. Its coming up to a month and we are still waiting for the judgement letter from the courts. I gave 1 star. couldn't find anything below that.

The secret to this Court is keeping note of helpful staff members and speaking to them about your case file. Getting direct numbers is also key if you can. Otherwise, they are very busy and the main phone lines can take a long time to answer. E-mails generally take a week or so to be acknowledged too, unless they are marked Urgent and are urgent. Family Court never seem to answer the phone, so reduced rating to 3 stars overall

1 in 4 family court cases not the biological father in BrightonThe deliberate or reckless making of a false statement in a document verified by a statement of truth would usually be so inherently serious that nothing short of an order for committal to prison would be sufficient. The Court made specific reference to contempt of court where a claimant sought to support a spurious or exaggerated claim, a lay witness seeking to provide evidence in support of such a claim, or an expert witness putting forward an opinion without an honest belief in its truth.Where it was an expert making the false statement, the fact that he or she was acting corruptly and made the relevant false statement for reward would make the case even more serious. It would be a serious contempt of court even if the expert witness acted from an indirect financial motive – the court gave examples such as a desire to obtain more work from a particular solicitor. It would still be a serious contempt if there was no financial motivation.Experts owe an overriding duty to the court that supersedes their duty to whoever is instructing them. Contempt by an expert undermines the administration of justice. It would therefore always be serious. It did not matter that the deliberate of reckless false statement was identified at an early stage and it did not matter that the deliberate or reckless false statement did not affect the outcome of the litigation. There is a great deal of trust placed on a witness. Putting forward a false statement, not caring about the truth, was usually almost as serious a contempt as telling a deliberate lie.
