I gave one star just because the shop has lovely pottery bowls and ceramics, otherwise the lady there was so rude, I felt so unwelcomed there, and I got rejected in a very rude way. I went there to buy some pots and to ask if I can take a look at the workshop as am doing a pottery project at uni, but then the lady instead of saying sorry we're too busy at the moment to let you in, just said absolutely NO" when I showed interest and asked about taking a look around

We discovered this lovely little shop over the Christmas period and they have some beautiful, affordable pottery for sale. All of which makes for perfect gifts. Would highly recommend as the products are great quality! We bought two of the noodle bowls and they are fantastic

A lovely Sunday market that offers a variety of food and drink, as well as fresh produce and clothing stalls.Notable highlights include the banh mi from Vietvan (wonderful staff and food - image 1) and the organic beef burgers from Jacob’s Ladder (image 2).It is popular amongst locals and has a nice vibe. There are some seats to stop and eat your food - plus there is also the park to take a stroll and eat.

Small market with few individual stalls like handmade soaps, baby clothes. In the main cooked food or fruit and veg. But there seemed to be a few stalls missing. When the weather is warmer gets busy being near the park and station so probably has more stalls. Area Surrounded by cafes, bars and restaurants

Just received a beautiful fruit bowl from Canterbury pottery. Light oatmeal with a dark oatmeal glaze. It is completely wonderful. Very pleased. Thank you

Pretty nice farmers market.They do have fresh fish, eggs, cheese and also a couple produce stands. Which is really nice to have, as I found most British farmers market tend to mostly have already cooked /ready to eat food optionsWill definitely recommend to grab a few items and go enjoy them at the park nearby

Cute little market with some interesting food options including some vegan friendly items. There's a fish stall, a couple of vegetable stalls and some crafts. Some stalls start closing up by 3pm.

I recently asked Canterbury Pottery to remake a Communion Plate for a church in Eastbourne, which had been dropped and shattered. Canterbury Pottery had made the original one many years ago. I forwarded details and a photo of the remaining one, (There were two the same) and measurements, and within two weeks a replacement arrived. Absolutely perfect in every way! What an amazing company! I was so delighted and relieved. Thank you Canterbury Pottery. Definitely 10 out of 10 for customer care, courtesy and production. Recommend Canterbury Pottery to anyone anywhere!

This place is fabulous, the selection of exquisite pottery is extensive with unusual and beautiful pieces, some of which are unique. Have bought pieces here for many years now, never disappointed. They are happy for you to commission pieces and I strongly recommend you look at their Halloween and Christmas pieces when they come out. Where else do you find a family run pottery with the artistic flare of Canterbury Pottery, it's a must to visit.

I have bought a few items from the Canterbury pottery. Each item is very well made and has gone down a storm as gifts. I ordered some items for Christmas, the package arrived on time and the gifts were very well packaged.
