Waited 54 minutes to get through, then told after that time I am number 2 in the queue, next message: our offices are now closed. Despicable company. I was phoning for someone else who has a terminal illness but they still harrass them for money. Telling Trading Standards about this appalling company.

What a great service and a lovely person to deal with. Emma guided us through the process of selling our house and was always on hand to help and answer our questions. This was a very smooth process and we were kept up to date through ever stage. Highly recommend this Solicitor.

The people who work for this company have no emotion, no empathy, they show know willingness to help. They are quite literally bullies. I have dealt with them twice now. First occasion last year sometime with a man who was absolutely vile to me on the phone. Even ended up hanging up on me because I was having a discussion (slightly heated) with my mother in law about the ticket whilst he was on the phone and he said I have enough to deal with at home with my wife arguing with me so I certainly am not dealing with you two crazy women arguing" and hung up. My blood was boiling. Then earlier this week I had a letter for a different charge and the lady on the phone was just very rude

Spoke today with Jerrome Driscoll via the online chat. Jerrome was very friendly and efficient, dealt with my enquiry very quickly and easily and made sure to explain everything and answer all of my questions. I feel much better having spoken to Jerrome and having this matter dealt with. It was far easier than I had expected and I am happy with the outcome. Overall I have found ACT to be easy to work with, they are friendly and not pushy like some other companies.

Filled in the web form shown on their page and got a response call back within 10 minutes. After having explained my situation I was told it was a little complicated as I had already used a previous company which couldn’t enforce the High Court Writ so a Bailiff would call to talk me through my choices going forward. Excellent advice from the Bailiff who clearly “knew her stuff“ and I was advised of the best option given the debt I was chasing. With the caveat that “there is no absolute guarantee that they could get the debt paid”, the other companies I had spoken to all said that they could enforce the Writ even though the original company wasn’t able to. I expected the same with this company, I certainly didn’t expect to be told that the debt was clearly unrecoverable and for me not to throw “good money after bad”. No one likes to hear that they aren’t going to be able to recover their money owed but I appreciate that not every debt is collectible. I CAN’T RATE HIGHLY ENOUGH. The company could just have “signed me up” and taken more money from me, as all the others had tried, knowing that they would get a fee and yet they wouldn’t be able to recover the debt, but they were totally honest and saved me wasting time and extra money. Outstanding service, I would highly recommend.
