Went to the post office to post a large letter 2nd class. Was asked if it was urgent (nope just second class) and was it very important. (Nope; just standard second class)I thought postage had gone up in price because it was more expensive than expected, but on reviewing the receipt they had charged me for a ‘signed for’ stamp.This means I was overcharged and the receiver will be needlessly inconvenienced.

“Cam the scam” is the local name for this shop around shard-end. Every time I’ve been into this post office it’s nothing but rudeness and ignorance from the workers. Almost everything is overpriced and appears as though they make their own prices up for 90% of the shop including postage prices. Both owners are rude and workers just as bad, white female with glasses behind the main counter is ridiculously rude and is always miserable not forgetting ignoring customers and doing things whilst she can clearly see customers are waiting. Pathetic behaviour and awful customer service; avoid at all costs.

I'd I could give Zero stars I would. After checking prices for recorded delivery I realise I was conned into paying extra. Thieves

Don't bother if you want to pay monzo. Apparently, monzo being backed by Mastercard and having a UK office isn't good enough. They also don't do contact less payments

Shop does have a lot of things and variety so worthy of the 1 star. But the guy on front till was on his phone whole time whilst I was at the shop and while serving customers. Doesnt even smile or say thank you. 0 customer service skills and unprofessional.

I have been here twice, on both occasions I have asked for 1st class recorded and been conned with special delivery even though she has been adament that she's given me what I asked for - AvoidNothing ever changes, asked for 1st class recorded and sneakily put through special delivery, I asked for a 1st class stamp and he said £7.45, I said just for a stamp? He said of u just want a stamp and not recorded, they are con artists and not friendly at allAvoid

Absolutely shocking customer service in the shop not actually post office! Rude personnel!!

Absolutely appalling service, complete disregard for common courtesy and point blank do not pay bills owed even when there is no valid dispute or any sense of being missed in error. Totally ignorant typical council workers.

Post office closes at 18:45. Timing are not 20:00. Visit the the shop at 18:40. Inside post office was closed and shop person told to come tomorrow. I told him that in Google it's till 20:00. He said that's wrong.
