They have no clue and even complain when you report issues too many times for heir liking. Unprofessional, and do not do their due diligence. They are a risk to children wellbeing.

I am involved with a family in crisis, helping the mother and her three children cope with an abusive father.Social services have been involved but their commitment and desire to help is none existant and I am thoroughly disgusted with them and will be on to their manager in Loughborough first thing in the morning to raise my concerns. I thought social services were there to help families like this but the service so far has been disgraceful.

Reporting safeguarding a waste of time. They spend a few visits being conned by manipulative resident parent and get the impression the child is safe. The SW was either gullible or under qualified. Let’s hope we are not witnessing yet another tragedy in waiting.I’m sure they have plenty of loving parents to target with perfect babies for needy impatient adopters that they would prefer to spend our taxes on

Attempted to get help by turning up as the phone doesn't get answered, EVER!The place is closed down by the looks of it. Door locked, place looks like it's been stripped for parts. Help cannot be found.

My last review got taken down, you can't stop people having an opinion whoever reported it, social services including care managers don't always do their jobs properly and they have failed a lot of people including me, I don't agree with everything people say about them but I know they don't always do their jobs properly.

So my very 1st appointment i was given the WRONG Day/DATE I turned up at the right time after figuring it out just to be Told the Social worker WASNT even in and she had said to a duty worker that she DIDNT even bother TURNING up ive been waiting to get a call?letter wityhb my appointments and have heard nothing back from them at all but yet they say they have TRIED to call .... its as IF they WANT US TO FAIL ..... #absolutelyPathetic #PollokSocialWork I ONLY put 1 star because i cant put ZERO stars

I gave it one star because I have to, to be able to write a comment. AVOID massively if you can. One of the social workers Laura farnsbrough told my son to stop telling me bad things that happen. Sick to think this is the people that work with our children to protect" them. And then closes the case with spur taste in her mouth. Disgrace. Steeling a living with a wage"
