Ethiopian restaurant

Beautiful meal - meat and vegetable platter today - lamb, beer, lentils, vegetables and injera. A coffee to finish. Very nice welcoming atmosphere.

Very tasty! Seemed like it was cooked fresh to order, it took 30-40 min to arrive after ordering but was well worth the wait!Absolutely delicious. We had the platter (meant for 3 to 5 people) between 2 of us as we wanted to try a few dishes, everything was great. There was a little leftover so would easily have fed 3 or 4 people, and at £52 for the whole platter is great value anywhere but especially so in London.I've had Ethiopian food many times, in various places around the world, and this is up there with the best I've had. Wouldn't hesitate to come back, or recommend to anyone.

EDIT: it’s food poisoning. 12 hours later and I have fever and stomach pains that have kept me up all night. This was my first meal yesterday so if couldn’t be from anywhere else. Unfortunately would recommend skipping this place.——The injera was great, but the veggie platter was so-so. Way way too oily. Half the items were cold. I had a terrible stomach ache within a half hour of eating.

Interesting food experience. Spicy lamb meat (Ye beg wot) was my best dish. Beef we ordered as medium cooked was bit sloppy. Everything was bit sour but still fresh and nice. It seems that many people with Ethiopian origins often visit the place which proves it has quite authentic taste.

I was attending a gig with my son at the Boston Music Rooms and this place popped up during my search for vegan restaurants near Tufnell Park. We had a bit of each dish, mine with rice and my son's with the bread. This was followed by a fresh mint tea and a caffeine free spiced Ethiopian tea. All very tasty. We were made to feel welcome. I will definitely come here again when I'm next up for a gig.

Incredible food. I had the vegetarian platter for one person. There was a perfect portion to try each of the items. The dish comes with a lot of injera (the bread/pancake you eat with) and I could only finish about 50% of it. You’ll definitely feel full after leaving here. Service is great and staff are very friendly and helpful.3 points for Liverpool womens’ team and a very satisfied stomach after. I will be back!

Amazing experience. It was our first time eating Ethiopian food and couldn’t have enjoyed it more. The food was delicious and plentiful! There was so much we couldn’t finish (and they even offered to put in a doggy bag to take home). I was able to have the main set menu with accommodations as it is all vegan and gluten free. Such a delight to be able to have the same food as everyone else!Our server had great knowledge of allergens on the menu when asked. I couldn’t have the cake but the amazing coffee made up for it!The place itself is surrounded with wonderful art, music and scents of the home roasted coffee beans. Staff patiently explained the menu and some of the traditions which added to a wonderful experience.Wonderful atmosphere and even better food. Will definitely be back!

Restaurant deco and atmosphere was very good but the food was disgusting. It was not freshly made and tests out of date and off. It poses a high risk of food poisoning. We could not see the actual sauces that we ordered as it was overwhelmed by excessive salads, covered on top of it. They need to improve on the food quality before it seriously affect the health of customers.
