Holland & Barrett - Norwich
It was fine, just like all the other Holland & Barrett stores. There's no reason to particularly choose to come to this store over any other health food/products store, except that they often have decent price promotions. Service is unexceptional, store layout is logical but uninspiring, and range of products is ok.

The Fashion School
My son loves his weekly class at The Fashion School. The teachers are great. His interest in fashion is taken seriously and nurtured. He loves illustrating new ideas and practicing his sewing skills at home between sessions. The ability to work towards an Arts Award during the course is a huge bonus. Highly recommended.

Northern College of Costume
The NCC is such a valuable resource for people wanting to learn how to make costumes, or get into the costume industry. It fills the gap in technical knowledge left by a lot of degree courses. The teaching was fantastic and the course was intensive. It gave me the confidence to get my dream job in film, I can’t recommend it enough.

The London Leather Workshop
Although I’d some experience of hand-stitching leather, I’d never touched any form of sewing machine before. So there was a little trepidation in tackling an industrial leather sewing machine. However under Sara’s expert guidance, I was soon tackling all the fundamental construction techniques.I thoroughly enjoyed the two day course and would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn or improve their machine sewing. I left with the confidence to practice what I’d learnt on larger projects myself but that there is still so much to learn from their collective knowledge. So I will definitely be returning for further courses.

Grafton Academy of Fashion Design
I did the one year intensive course at Grafton a few years ago and recently came back, as I found the notes I had taken at Grafton were by far the best I had come across. The skills I learnt at Grafton years ago are still serving me today and the tutors are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I would definitely recommend any of their courses to anyone thinking about studying pattern drafting/sewing/dressmaking/tailoring!

Cathie's Creative
Discovered Cathie's evening classes during the pandemic and joined as soon as I was able to, been going ever since. Cathie is so knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I started with a one to one session to learn the basics of my sewing machine and came away with a cute pin cushion. Since then I've created a wardrobe full of dresses and the confidence to make more at home. Classes are great for support with new skills, help with fitting and the joy of sharing creations with fellow students.Highly recommend for new sewists or folks wanting to expand their skills.

The London Leather Workshop
I did the professional leather work course with Sara in December 2023. I work as a prop modeller and needed industry standard instruction and guidance. Sara is a very patient and systematic teacher. I felt like I was in well informed hands. I would recommend the london leather Workshop as a leather supplier, tool supplier and place to learn. The workshop was warm and desk completely equipped. I was also given a few researched handouts.I feel emboldened to make more informed choices on my future leather project. It was fun too. I just wanted more!
