Peaceful site with friendly helpful owners

I was given a course for Christmas and having left it until the last minute to book, I called Bod to talk about options. In the end I opted to upgrade my voucher for a full day deer butchery course. What a day it was. Nothing was over the top, overly serious, overtly silly, or rushed. It was a brilliant balance of two excellent hosts (Bod and Steven), who engaged and involved us in the process of preparing a deer carcass in an accessible but also precise manner. It's hard to articulate quite how good it was. Cooking was top notch and the end result was a fantastic day with a great group of people, delicious food, and a new found motivation to prepare and eat more of the natural produce this country has to offer. Thank you very much indeed for a proper 'experience'.

What an absolute plum I will never go there again I would rather not go fishing than have to go to the shop again

We went here today for the first time and we had a great time fly finishing. The owner Peter is very nice and helpful. Great selection of lakes. We caught 2 rainbow trouts and are beautiful!

Andrew is happy to help and very knowledgeable about the local trout fishing. His shop has everything you need to get kitted out for a trip.

Good just too get away and relax

Excellent place to fish. Well kept by owners. Quality of fish excellent a big thumbs up. Well worth a visit for a day or a few days. Caravans are nice and set back from fishery Well kepted. Keep up good work. Very nice breakfasts, cafe clean and staff nice and polite.
