French restaurant

The Breton chicken was uncooked and pink inside. The restaurant was too noisy to have a conversation.

We had the pleasure of going here for lunch yesterday. The whole experience was exquisite. The food was just absolutely delicious - some really clever courses. The wine flight was really interesting and well thought through. It was my mums birthday and they made the whole experience magical. Can't wait to come here again! A bientôt

This is just the perfect spot to enjoy delicious food! Arthur is so creative and passionate about his cooking, you can definitely feel the love for whatever your order and the team always have special attention for you. Its the type of place that makes you feels good, you almost never want to leave or already looking for the next occasion to come back.I simply love it to just pop in for a glass of wine and enjoy a delicious crepe or host my parties there. Its a place that makes you feel at home.I can't wait to go back!

I've dined at both La Chapelle as well as Galvin HOP and they are both divine. La Chapelle was everything a fine French restaurant should be - the service was friendly and impeccable, the Sommelier was fabulous, and the food was delicious. The setting in the old church is spectacular, and the restaurant is perfect for a date night or a special occasion. Galvin HOP is the modern bistro next door and is great for a casual dinner with a lively atmosphere. Their new menu is lovely, the zucchini flower and charred corn is great. They offer both sharing plates as well as larger meals, but sharing is the best. The music was great too. Would recommend both.

This is unshamelessly the best restaurant I have dined in near Hastings.It is the epitome of excellence.From getting out of your car to getting back in again is a beautiful journey of decadence.I had the most exquisite lunch on the beautiful patio served by a wonderful young lady.This is truely a family run business with a wonderful passion and commitment to excellence.You will most definitely go away with a smile dining here.Just perfect.

Meal a present from family, slow to serve us, but once order taken service improved. Not the warmest place to sit and eat.

The worst restaurant I have ever food. My daughter and son were so looking forward to have dinner. We ordered burgers and steak… the burger was dry… salty… had no other appreciable taste… the burger buns were so dry… the fries were totally lifeless.. the steak was dry… rubbery.. felt like it was old cheap meat.. the pepper corn sauce was tasteless and salty.. I would not even allow a dog to eat food in this restaurant… it’s a scam.. Only reason I came out having a smile was the staff.. they were friendly.. and very polite..

Atmosphere and service were excellent but as usual with high end places the food lets it down. I ordered the vegan French onion soup which I had to send back as was barely warm. There was also a minute amount in the bowl for the price. Tasty but very thick and unsubstantial. Came with a chunk of dry toasted bread but no oil, butter or other to put on it. Vegan burger was good but never sure why , for the price of £17 you don’t get any coleslaw or salad. Just burger and a few chips . That said very comfy and welcoming and the waiting staff weee faultless.

My wife and I had a lovely meal last night. The welcoming reception was first class . The waiters were very polite and friendly. The food was delicious and presented beautifully. The amount of choices of wine available is astounding.Easy to find with good signage .

The staff and service were great and had amazing energy! They were uplifting and happy and ready to party which was amazing. The food was delicious. We really enjoyed the alcohol beverages we had and ordered for more rounds. The crowd was great. The music needed to be a little more in our year but other than that me and my husband had a great time.
