Gwrych Castle
We visited Gwrych Castle for an escape live event. Amazing experience, you could tell a lot of effort had gone into making the experience so good. The characters were fantastic and scared the hell out of me. Please bring this back next year. Thank you

Wetheral Priory Gatehouse
Interesting place to visit. Free entry.Narrow Steep Spiral staircase with uneven steps, would be quite challenging for elderly or disabled

Smyth’s custom joinery & Cabinets
We would highly recommend Smyths custom joinery they provided excellent bespoke craftsmanship. Once the job got started they were very efficient, clean and tidy. Nothing was too much trouble and the cost was very reasonable for the quality of the work. Everything was checked and double and triple checked with us which was great. Real attention to detail. Overall we love our new sitting room. Thank you SJC

Somerleyton Hall
What a beautiful place! The gardens are just wonderful. The maze is fun, too.The cafe has a fully plant based menu, some ingredients are even grown on site! However, we just had green tea (which was loose leaf & nice and fresh) & a coffee, which my partner said was the nicest coffee he'd had in a long time.

Haughmond Abbey
Cycled from shrewsberry to get here. Usually people travel to here by car. Big entrance with car park. There is usually a staff on site but no shop and cafe. The sught is mostly a ruin with a room showing some photos as exhibits. Can spend around 30 minutes to one hour here

The Royal Mews, Buckingham Palace
Visited in Aug, wasnt very busy as compared to rest of the sights around London at the time. Tour is guided and takes about 45mins. Great info provided on the history of the place and the staff. You get to see the state carriages and learn its history. Very informative and would recommend to visit while at Buckingham Palace; its less than 10min walk from the main palace gates.

Old Gorhambury House
We enjoyed our visit to the Elizabethan mansion ruins. Met and had a little conversation with the honourable Viscountess Lady Rosanagh Grimston. She was a lovely person and told us about future events for visitors. Would love to learn about the history of such a remarkable place.
