Nice visit at Washington, it's not huge, but lots of historic relevance with cool displays. Also a really good effort for younger visitors.Park outside on road.Enjoyed it.

National Trust - Sunnycroft
Sunnycroft Wellington shropshire home of a Shropshire brewer, a beautiful Edwardian gentleman's home. Exactly how it was when it was built the family never changed the house. Wonderful grade 1 glass house in the grounds. Well worth a visit, national trust property. Pre book only

Old Bishop's Palace
A gem of a small space to wander in and ponder with your thoughts. The trees and flowers are well cared for.The riuns themselves are not as well cleaned and most are not accessible and seem a little forlorn. There are a few benches along the inside of the walls.

Reigate Castle Grounds
A very nice and beautiful place with a nice entrance which is like a castle gate. Plenty of space for picnic, walking and children playing around.

Hinxton Watermill
Out on a walk Hinxton to Ickleton not long off the road and I came across this little gem. One of those moments when you walk round the corner, stop in your tracks and just go WOW!I reserve 5 Stars for those wow moments, this was definitely one of them.

Sighthill Stone Circle
This is an astronomical stone circle constructed by a modern artist to commemorate the work of astronomers at Glasgow University. It also has a 'humming stone' that you can blow into to create a resonating vibrating sound. It's among new buildings and is just the stones, no admission charge, toilets, cafe or gift shop.
