Japanese curry restaurant

Nice restaurant in the city centre. Food was very mediocre; the pork in the honey chilli was very hard and chewy. Portion of the chicken wings is quite small compared to other places we’d been to (see in pictures). Pina colada was very watered down and tasted like nothing. The waiter that served us was very hospitable and friendly. Overall, the visit was okay and the decor is pretty aesthetic.

The best place to go for imaginative sushi in Lewes! The food is amazing and Alex and Lily are always very welcoming. Highly recommended!

I had lunch here awhile ago prior to my dentist appointment. The place is small but nice and clean.For the food,it’s absolutely delicious!Priced well!Owner is friendly and you’ll get the best service.I enjoyed my lunch. Highly recommended. They only accept cash payment tho’.

My colleagues and I sat in for dinner. I can only speak for the dish I ordered; a Chicken Pad Kee Mao, and it was absolutely delicious. The noodles were well-seasoned and had a great texture. The employee is very welcoming and friendly. However, the food took quite some time to arrive…

Curry was ok but was very watery. Small portions, soggy spring rolls, satay skewers that have made my stomach feel alarming. Currently stranded as moving anywhere makes it feel as if my takeaway might come back to say hello. Girlfriend barely stole any.

We went to Chaska and chaii today for lunch. We had chicken saag karahi and lamb karahi, the food was delicious we really enjoyed it and kids. so have to rate them on that.But have got to say the service and wait was absolutely dreadful and the staff were so un-attentive and slow. Had to repeatedly call them and ask them how long the wait would be. we went at 1.30 and our order wasn't taken till around 2.15 and then food arrived just around 3ish that to as i nagged and asked for it to be quick.Service and wait time is very bad and there is no structure in place. The atmosphere was lovely but it was extremely busy.Husband wanted Puri and chole but by the time we was served they had stopped serving it as apparently after 1.30 they don't do puri chole.

£10 for a chicken Katsu but it's some soggy karage and isn't there supposed to be sauce?I ordered this because the pictures and reviews here looked great but I just got a dry box of stuff with some sad looking lettuce. I cannot recommend ordering the Katsu. And in any case, if you're taking out, check what's in the box & bag before you leave the place.

Good quality and service , they took great care in cooking food , food portions are good and hot enough.

Superb dishes, great Japanese whisky selection and good views. Can get very (too) busy in the evenings, lots of city tourists and a loud atmosphere. I prefer their Covent Garden restaurant however SS city is still great.

Amazing place to eat, everything was fresh and delicious.From starters to mains!!! Would definitely recommend.Very few restaurants that have this type of fresh quality and customer service.
