Jin Go Gae Restaurant
One of the top Korean restaurants in London. Very fast service and fresh food. They help you with the BBQ, checking to make sure it's cooked and ready.Marinated beef short rib was to die for, very tender and flavoursome. However the beef kalbi in diamond shape was disappointing, very chewy even though it was marbled cut. This was more expensive than the marinated version. Mix veg not worth the money, a few slices of carrots, onions and courgettes for £11!

Food was authentic, wont say I’ll come all the way from central London for it again though. The raw crab was the highlight of the dinner as it was pretty fresh and normally harder to find in London.Customer service was alright, not as bad as some of the other reviews, but I guess we didn’t go during peak times so it wasn’t as busy.

The Ojingeo Bokkeum was delicious, but don't order the fried chicken, there are small pieces of bone inside of it, overall it was a good restaurant.

1 Star for the food, which was really good, minutes stars for everything else.We were waiting outside with 3 other groups, while inside the tables were empty, just not cleaned.Even when finally getting in, the tables next to us stayed uncleaned for the entire time. The beer was warm and ambient was disappointing. The toilets, even for asien restaurant standards, was just disgusting. The waitress - responsible for 6 tables was obviously not up to the - or any - task.Don't be fooled, they have no Korean BBQ with a grill in the middle of the table. Don't know where those pictures are from, but not from this restaurant.Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

The food was so authentic and dense loved everything about this restaurant. The ambiance makes me feel like I’m in Korea:) The budae jjigae (army stew)was to die for, it’s a must try for everyone.Additionally the kimchi and other side dishes was splendid. The service being quite slow is the only downfall but other than that I will definitely be coming back for more.

Always love going to this place whenever we are in the area. This is the only place that gives me Korean vibes as if I’m actually in Korea. The ajummas there (aunts serving food) are friendly and always welcoming. Their food is really good and tastes traditional. I really love their galbitang, seafood pancake, and their bbq are of good quality meats. They also serve banchans (side dishes) free of charge like in Korea (but just not as many) which a lot of places here in the UK will charge you for it.Definitely one of the best Korean restaurants in UK. Although their prices have gone up slightly now compared to before, still a must visit if you want traditional Korean food.Food: 8.5/10Value: 8/10

Don’t waste your time eating here.I must say it was a truly disappointing experience. The service was fine, however from the 3 plates we ordered the only good thing was the Korean bbq.LA ribs was nothing even similar to what Koreans call “galbi ribs”. On top of that when asked if side dishes were included in the plate server said yes.He brought up only 3 little things of side dishes whenever we ordered 2 entrées. white rice was not even included with the ribs, which is strange because usually most of the places will bring you when you order your entree. The thin pork belly dish was not even flavorful. Save time and skip this place!

This place is located in busy Covent Garden, my personal favourite was kimchi fried rice plus peach soju.
