Hired twice from these guys, Peter is a legend, extremely helpful on both occasions. The vans are brilliant and well prepared, coming with everything you need for a fantastic trip. Rock solid and reliable.Have recommend to friends and family and would certainly use again in the future.The vans have plenty of character and are great fun.Very comfortable, providing a great night's sleep and more than capable on the road.Your given a full run down of the vans on pick up and Peter is more than happy to answer questions on the phone if you need during your travels.We we're given a free upgrade as one of the two vans we booked was involved in an accident and although just repaired Peter wanted to double check everything before renting it out.Absolute brilliant service, these guys go above and beyond. Many thanks for a great trip and many brilliant memories.

What a fantastic company, the motorhome was spotless upon collection, Patrick was very helpful and showed us around the van and how everything worked.We took to the Sun-Seeker 196 to the Lake District which felt like a home away from home, even a Smart TV to wind down in the evenings with plenty of space and very comfortable double bed.If you are looking for a hire company, look no further.. 5 STARS FROM ME!!

Brilliant 4 nights, 5 days spent with this van! Had everything we needed, didn't end up using shower and toilet as we stayed at campsites that had facilities but nice to know they were there if needed. Sams lovely, chilled out and had great communication whenever we needed him. Gas cooker really easy to use, and the fire was great to have on as it did get very cold at night (it is the middle of winter after all). Van although very long and daunting to drive was surprisingly easy to get used too once you get to grips with it! Although look out for narrow roads, sharp turnings and car parks that don't have the big motorhome spaces. Bed super comfy and spacious. No EHU facility so you can't use hairdryer or anything more than a device charger (if at a campsite). However perfect for off grid, the electric was enough to charge our laptop and phones absolutely fine, it ran low sometimes but never ran out! Will definitely be using one of Sam's vans again, such a fab experience!

At the last minute decided to go on a camping holiday.! Edward and Louise were extremely helpful and squeezed us in for a caravan.Collected promptly at meeting place to find a very clean tidy very well equipped modern caravan.Can't recommend these people enough.

Awful! I unfortunately bought one of their shared ownership! They are blatant liars when purchasing!The after service is non existance! There is No Customer Service at all.I WOULD THOROUGHLY PERSUADE you not to purchase a property from the them!DO NOT TOUCH THEM!!!

First class service and equipment. We rented a Motorhome for a long weekend and had a wonderful time. At the pickup we were met by Jun who clearly explained the facilities of the Motorhome and how to take proper care of the vehicle. Looking forward to further rentals in the future.

Andy and Open Road were absolutely amazing. This was by far the greatest trip our family has ever taken. The entire RV and rental experience was so smooth, enjoyable and easy. The RV was perfect! I wish all companies operated like Andy and the Open Road team do! We will be sending all of our friends and family here for future vacations!! Thank you for a great trip!

This is the best motorhome hire we have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Every detail has been considered to make this a luxurious and practical experience. The flexibility, genuine warmth and spotless condition of the van mean we will be back again (and again!)
