Beautiful building in its own right ,lots of stairs but lifts also available. Great lockers to use on ground floor for refundable £1 . Great exhibits which can be seen really close up . The Egyptian displays are stunning . Really busy half term day .but loved it

Surprisingly fascinating local museum. We popped in on a whim but next time plan to spend 90 minutes for a complete viewing. Friendly and engaging helpers

Seaford Museum of Local History
A local museum with a wide range of artifacts and pictures of Seaford by ages. It’s worth visiting. Average spending time is around 1 hour.

Fantastic nostalgic visit. The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable from the moment we got there. They are all volunteers and you can tell they love their museum. There are lots of interesting things to see and interactive things to do. The 2-Tone shops and the whole village are definitely well worth a visit.

What a fabulous trip the museum was delightful and our guides friendly and informative. Not forgetting the volunteers who fired up the steam driven equipment and the staff in the cafeteria. Would recommend a visit.

Govan Old Church
Any one interested in Welsh, Scottish and Viking history should visit this place. It remarkably stood surrounded by ship yards holding on to it's great historical treasures and is now unearthing even more. A church has been here since the fifth century and long may it go on. Make sure you use one of the guides their fantastic.

Museum of East Dorset
I took my 4 year old here on a wet weather day and we both loved it. There are so many fun and interesting interactive displays! Upstairs each room has topical toys, puzzles, books and crafts which are well presented and looked after. You can take a magnify glass or a torch from the front and walk round and do the childrens trail to add some more structure if you like. We loved the kitchen and school room. It was great to be in a place I didn't need to keep reminding him 'not to touch that'. There's a lovely tea room and big garden too. Highly recommended!

Great to see local history but not very disabled friendly if you don't have a wheelchair. No parking either, however if you give advance notice they state they will try to accommodate. No use if going there ad hoc though , but advised when it gets upgraded.

Very good for all ages. Our 3 yr old enjoyed it. Lots to look at and a fair few things to try out. The onsite cafe ia good too and reasonably priced

The National Motorcycle Museum
Great motorcycle collection and a great day out, the kids enjoyed it but there could do with more stuff to do there for kids including an outdoor play area. All those beautiful ground there and no one’s allowed to go on them not even on the hottest of days. Also unlike other museums there was no provision for a carers or PAs admission ticket. Surely it’s time now to be more inclusive & work with our future generations.
