Carding Mill Valley and the Long Mynd
Absolutely amazing! We stayed @sycamoreschristianretreat which is a Manor house on national trust land. There's a brook which runs in front of the house... it's so peaceful. The sound of birdsong is so clear. Whatever time of year I go it's always breathtaking, food for my soul. I highly recommend visiting.

The directions on this post stop on the A1 and the reserve/park is underneath you no way to get to it ---The best directions are on the Shilbdon nature reserve review

Old Man of Stoer
A beautiful and not challenging clifftop walk to a spectacular sea stack. It is boggy in places so you definitely need good shoes. The cliffs are immense so if you don't have a head for heights stay away from the edge! Taking your time it takes about 45 min to get level with the stack.

Stunning with good weather. Very wet underfoot but fine with hiking boots. You can get to the vantage point in about 35-40 mins of strong hiking. Reasonable inclines in places. Highly recommended.

Monknash Beach
What a cool beach! Check the tide times as there’s not much at high tide but at low tide you can follow the cliff round to a sandy bay. The cliffs are amazing, really interesting. The car park (honesty box donation) is a 15 minute walk away through a nature reserve so you can’t drive any closer, wear comfy shoes as it’s quite a rocky trail. Dogs are welcome.
