I love my yankee candles and always visit this shop whenever I spot one. I needed another electric burner for my melts and thought I was getting a bargain with this one, however upon getting it home I discovered it's not got a UK plug! Didn't realise I'd have to check the plug type in the shop! So as I'm now going to have to buy an adapter or return it and I feel it should have been pointed out at the till, that's why I'm only giving here 3 stars.

This location is simply stunning with its charming allure and splendid appearance. The street is lined with alluring shops and delectable restaurants that are sure to captivate your senses.The exterior of the building is what initially drew me in, and I eagerly ventured inside to explore further. Though I thoroughly enjoyed my time there, I was on a specific mission to locate The Perfume Shop, which proved to be quite elusive. Despite my search, I still highly recommend a visit to Princes Quay.

The owner is a very knowledgeable helpful man, he gives you honest advice and very reasonable prices. I have bought quite a lot of kit of him now.

Bought some goods on auction, paid for them within 24 hours. now nearly 3 months later and the vendor still won't let us pick them up, say there's no access to them and no idea when they will be. BPI won't even respond to calls and emails. Useless service.

Let me start by making it absolutely clear, that I am not the one that usually slates companies publicly for their lack of service as I am a big believer in resolving any issues privately. However, this is an exception.I purchased an item from BPI Auctions over 2+ weeks ago. Having made the payment on time (within their 48hr window so as not to accrue any interest penalties); I have been chasing several times weekly to arrange the collection/delivery of the item.The service from their staff has been simply atrocious. Failed promises of callbacks, excuses that the vendor is not reachable, and just being totally untruthful as to the whereabouts of the items. Finally, they have admitted that they cannot fulfill the order after wasting 2+ weeks of my time.They offered a full refund but I do not think it is good enough. I believe I have every right to ask for compensation, and any customer focussed business would do so if their reasoning for not fulfilling the transaction is legitimate.I run several businesses and understand that not all transactions and services will go smoothly. At least take the time out to update your customers as opposed to your customers having to chase. If there are major issues, communicate with them and they will be reasonable.BPI Auctions really need to look at themselves.
