I lived in this place for three months (Feb, Mar, Apr 2020) and I would not recommend this place as accommodation for anything longer than 3 days. I had to move out due to a bad infestation of fleas in my room. The support I get from the management was very poor. The general conditions of hygiene and safety are of a very low standard. If you can find any alternative, please avoid staying at this place. That's my sincere advice.

Mick the owner is one of the best guys you will ever meet

I remember visiting and getting Dr Downie, he does not take mental health seriously. He suggested I go a run" when I went for help. I was made to feel like a time waster despite the fact I work full time and actually contribute to society.I later went to Dr Bhat and the difference was stark

We've been here a couple of times for a pint or two during an afternoon stroll round Brighton. Slightly off the road location from the Steine, so we found it by accident the first time - lucky us! The staff are excellent and always very chatty. Pub has been quiet when we've been in, the next visit has to be so we can enjoy what the theatre has to offer.Toilets here are transgender, but not a problem as they are very well maintained.

Visiting

We went here for meal for a birthday, the young waiter was excellent. The wood was very nice aswell, it also very reasonable. I will definitely be going back!

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD CONTACTED COUNCIL REPAIRS ABOUT A CRACKED TOILET WATER EVERYWHERE UNITAS EMERGENCY PLUMBER CAME OUT SUNDAY 5 NOVEMBER AT 9PM COULD NOT FIX IT SAID HE WOULD LOG A EMERGENCY FOR NEW TOILET TO BE FITTED NEXT DAY CONTACTED COUNCIL REPAIRS TEAM NEXT DAY NO REPAIR HAD BEEN LOGGED THEY PUT ME THROUGH TO UNITAS NO REPAIR LOGGED WITH THEM TWO DISABLED PEOPLE AT THIS PROPERTY ONE MENTALLY PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED AND ONE WITH HEART TROUBLE AND PROSTRATE TROUBLE AND MOBILITY PROBLEMS SO DOWNSTAIRS TOILET IS ESSENTIAL ALL THIS WAS EXPLAINED TO COUNCIL REPAIR TEAM AND UNITAS BUT NO HELP TO FIT NEW TOILET TERRIBLE SERVICE YEARS AGO CITY WORKS WOULD HAVE DONE THIS IN HOURS.

One of the most mouthwatering burgers I've ever experienced in my entire life will definitely definitely suggest if it's still got the same chef there then go for a burger it's fantastic and well worth your time & money and if you don't like burgers just go across the road to Smith's of Bourne and have a homemade fresh pizza places to excellent food it's banging..

A gem of a real pub with matching old-fashioned land lady. Excellent ales in great condition in unspoilt surroundings. No food but you are welcome to bring your own. Well worth the diversion off the M40!
