I deeply regret living here for one year. I had no idea. I believed in the 7 years old reviews of this place and took it because it was the cheaper alternative. Their promise was it would be like the other colleges, with the only difference being that the building was a bit older... This is a lie. Plenty of comments here are explaining well enough the Bowland tower experience. I would like to add that Bowland, on the college activities side, is the one have quasi nothing going on. It's a tourist trap, kind of, since it is the perfect place for your 2 first weeks. .For the year 2024, this place will be more expensive so don't fall for it. It's not worth your money.

The student Crowd reviews are falsified. Multiple of my friends who have added their reviews never saw them appear. Some tried to review but someone apparently already created an account with their student mail before them, and when they asked to reset the password, they never received the reset email. Nothing in spam, block list etc.

Space to grow. I found out that I am a performance poet and hip hop artist as a result of the opportunities to be creative and encouragement in this gifting given by the staff here. Training to be a minister in the Church of England is weird, but Ridley is a community where it is OK for God to provide the answer to the question How can I be myself here?""

It’s a really good place to meet other people, and if you’re lucky you can create a really good connection with your roommates as well. Also the residence team is really nice and helpful!

Fantastic architecture, mindblowingly beautiful and innovatively designed gardens.Highly recommended for the Cambridge traveller daring enough to venture beyond the city centre into the Wild West.There's an affordable café and bar on site, too, with friendly staff and nice cakes.

Did a visit on a Cambridge day. The college is fantastic....the porters are very knowledgeable and very helpful/friendly....recommended
