Roller skating club

A lovely club with experienced, friendly coaches. I felt welcome from the very first session and feel I've already made so much progress in the short time I've been attending.

Dan is knowledgeable and passionate about skateboarding, always ready to offer expert advice and guidance.Happy Skate goes beyond just being a skate shop. It serves as a hub for the local skateboarding community, fostering a sense of belonging. Dan hosts regular events and gatherings, providing opportunities for skaters of all skill levels to connect and share their passion.

Learned techniques I would've felt too unqualified and frankly scared to try on my own. Definitely ended the course more comfortable on skates and confident!

The kid's thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Friendly, helpful staff both on the floor and at arrival's, although limited numbers due to covid. Well worth a visit.

Such a lovely group of ladies and a great coach. Brilliant way to get fit and learn a ruthless but beautiful sport, as well as making some great friends and having a laugh! 10/10 would recommend for anyone willing to strap wheels to their feet!

Fantastic selection of roller skates, wheels, bearings and all the accessories to customize them in a huge range of colour options. These guys have gone to great lengths to source UK made components too, reducing carbon footprint and supporting UK businesses. My daughter picked out the boot and added pink plates and wheels. Laces, bushes and stoppers were picked out in colours to complement her theme. They were then made up on site and ready for collection within the hour! Overall a great experience and well worth the drive from west London.

Really fun experience! The instructor was very patient and very friendly. I would definitely recommend if you want to improve your tricks on your inline skates.

Attended my first corn exchange roller disco and I was so impressed. Really well organised, friendly, inclusive team. I popped in the shop for some new wheels and the staff were actually amazing! Funny, helpful, knowledgeable even though it was busy they really took the time to help me. I also felt really confident as all of the team is so complementary and supportive. The whole vibe is so considered and I really applaud that.

My daughter had a rollerskating party at King Alfred yesterday and absolutely loved it. The team at Gyso were brilliant helping me organise it (including answering all my many questions!). There were lots of staff on the rink helping anyone if they fell over. My daughter was delighted at having an announcement about her party over the PA and them playing her favourite song. Thank you!

I love the classes, the atmosphere is very welcoming. The team is growing since i started having classes, opening more classes and time options, which is great, showing that the girls are achieving their goals and we are too. My teacher is Emma and i can't thank her enough for all the support, i started from the beginners class, which you can stay until you feel that you are confident enough to move on to the next level, they will teach you everything from how to use the equipment and be able to stand and roll to dance moves, so the classes are suitable to various levels of skaters including the absolute beginners. They always offer extra events involving professional guests, so, if you are reading this and want to start rolling skating, i bet you gonna love it like i do.
