Saw sharpening service

Excellent service. Sent a load of blades in for sharpening, back in less than 10 days. Very pleased.

so this is going back a couple of years, when they were called reed and sons mechanical engineers. I put a post on a garden machinery page looking for some parts for an old Mountfield mower and dave (the dad) said he had them, we agreed a price and I sent the payment. over the next few weeks no parts had arrived and I contacted them asking for an update to be told the son (new owner of J&D) hasn't sent them, and promised they would be sent that day. I tried to call dave and sent a few messages asking for tracking information and proof of postage but he then blocked me. Surprisingly they never arrived. i contacted my bank and they looked into this and I was told that no funds were available in the sellers account to refund. be very careful I was scammed out of them and changing a company name doesnt change anything. I was blocked on all social media and even contacted them through another account asking for parts to be told I can pay for parts via bank transfer which tells me I possibly wasn't the first or last to be scammed

Brilliant at their job

Martin is friendly, efficient and thorough. He has done a fantastic job with our very blunt school fabric scissors. I wouldn't hesitate to use Martin again and would thoroughly recommend him.

Not got a clue what they doing. told me my table saw motor was nackerd ..after they put second hand capacitor on. and after a day it stopped working. because they put a 40uf capacitor on when it should have been a 60uf .they told me £50+fitting charge.for new capacitor .they only £9.50 brand new on internet won't go there again ...

Just had my knifes professionally sharpend by Brookside. A class service and knifes are sharper now than when I originally bought them.
