Source For The Goose
I have been shopping at Source for the Goose for many years. The stock of vintage and retro items constantly changes and there is also a good stock of interesting furniture and gardenalia. Jill is extremely helpful and friendly and will post items if you do not live locally. I am particularly pleased with the vintage bentwood hatbox recently purchased.

Sir Henry Havelock statue
Why are people interested in these unnecessary old statues of people in the Army. They should replace these statues with something more modern.

We absolutely love this place. So many fabulous garden ornaments at such good prices. Lovely friendly couple, and very helpful. We always find plenty to buy each time we go there!

Spartacus Sculpture
Definitely Spartacus, or a fairly good resemblance. Although he wasn’t the first to stand up, so it’s hard to say if it’s him or not really. But a nice area to visit. Great coffe at the theatre cafe. ☕️

The Beatles Statue
It's very neat. There they are in all their glory! Loads of people wanting to get their picture taken so be ready to wait or time it so you get to them between tour buses by just keeping an eye on it. We then took the ferry at the terminal right next store to them on one of the routes across the mrsey for some view and cheap water time. WELL worth it:) you can buy drinks and food from the cafe and take them in the ferry!
