Toll Booth - Prince Of Wales Bridge
I felt this place worthy of a review based on the good experience I had there. Getting to the toll booth can be a problem on occasions. It's generally popular with a long queue to get to the booth itself. Once you're there is fine though. Payment can be cash or card, I don't believe they take cheque even crossed, and the person on the door is generally cheerful and pleased to ease you on your way. Al-in-all a fairly pleasant experience.

£6 for a two minute drop-off!Charged me the full £6 for a two-minute drop off of some friends at the beach at 17:00 in the evening, which struck me as unhelpful and inflexible.Even if I hadn't been planning to leave immediately, £6 for three hours would seem to be somewhat poor value (closes at 8).

M1 Toll Plaza
One wednesday night 11/10/2023, the road was closed off for the Bettystown exit which meant I was forced to take the toll and my journey was made longer. Had zero form of payment as I didn't plan on taking any toll. No signs letting us know the Bettystown exit was closed. I asked the staff at the manned boot and she said there should have been" signs 3 or 4 exits prior. How does that even make sense. I had to call to get a 16 digit card number to make a payment. The congestion at the tolls due to this road closure was ridiculous. I spent 15 mins waiting to get through the manned boot... The other side of the Bettystown exit had no closer. It's all one big scam and we're all letting them get away with this!"

Awful place, they charge you £6 at the top of the hill to enter, even if you just want a quick look. Avoid

No sign to say toll ahead I crossed very early in morning light was not good. Luckily I had a pound coin on me. Bloody disgusting especially when we have to pay road taxes and council tax that should cover these things

M6 Toll Tollbooth (Northbound)
DOES NOT ACCEPT CASH OR CONTACTLESS PAYMENTS.Was forced on the M6 Toll due to closures of the M6 and multiple A and B road closures on the same day (thanks Warwickshire Council!).Wallet was in the boot however we had cash and contactless payments via phones available, but you have to do a physical card payment by slotting it in the machine!Nothing but Automated Booths available too.Really helpful getting out of the car to get a card, what a mess of a system providing only one solution of payment!

Marine Drive Toll
Best £4.50 spent!! Its not just a drive with amazing views. There's plenty of places to stop, climb and explore. All safe. A whole day can be spent here and the views will not disappoint. Cute little cafe at the top. Been twice now and cannot wait to go back again. A calm peaceful place.
