Turf and Soil Supplier

Absolutely brilliant supplier for my company, Adam makes my life so easy I give him a call and within 5 minutes my order or questions are done and dusted EVERY time !!! Highly recommend

My experience. Ordered and paid for turf on Monday for delivery on Thursday. Telephoned Thursday morning to confirm and advised that the turf would be delivered on Thursday afternoon. Telephoned 16:45 before they closed to be told that it was on its way and would be delivered soon. The turf did not arrive. Telephoned on Friday morning at 9:10, was told that they would look into the delivery and ring back in 5 minutes., 40 minutes later I rang back and was told it would be delivered within the hour. 12:40, three hours later telephoned again to establish when the turf would be delivered. In an hour I was told, they were sorry they had problems cutting the turf! How come if the turf was to be delivered on Thursday! Still waiting for delivery and hour later, no telephone call from customer service or driver. The delivery and sales/customer service is appalling and in the dark ages. Delivery companies offer 2 hour windows for delivery. This is a local company within 20 miles of point of delivery. Customers have jobs, children and families. As a local family owned company they desperately need to review their values and customer service. The deception and total lack of care for the customer is mind blowing. I hope Mitchell Turf read this review and take note.

Ordered four bulk bags of topsoil…full to the brim and bursting at the seams, and top class soil too. Can’t fault the delivery or placement in the garden. Great service. Would highly recommend.

Had my fence done and thought it wouldn’t be an easy job but SAS handled it like real professionals and finished everything to a very high standard and quickly too. I was amazed at how efficient these guy’s are especially Ste what a guy!!The job was booked in quickly, They came on time and was done ahead of schedule. Old uneven patio lifted relaid correctly and cleaned brilliant job all friendly and helpful also hedge removed and fencing erected again really good job and we are delighted with the work

Wow these boys are excellent, I put my order in at 10.30 in the morning they emailed me kept me up to date. 2 hours later the fences are on my drive, very friendly reliable bunch of guys, highly recommend these I'll certainly use them again

They also sell coal, firewood, water softener salt etc.I have used them for both small and larger orders; you can buy in bulk to save money and order in advance. Prices are competitive, although there may be occasions where you can find stuff cheaper online.What makes Rackhams a five star business is the setting and customer service; the team are very friendly and will always load your car for you which helps with bulk orders.
