Having previously used other local garages, my wife's Fiat 500 engine seized recently, so we decided to find a new local Fiat specialist. Having read the other reviews of S&H, we took it to Damion and his team for assessment and we have found that not only is he credible and knowledgeable, just as importantly, he's also incredibly trustworthy, fair and kind. Thank you.

Beware of them scamming you! My car had a punctured tyre and we asked the person to know if they can check it out and repair the puncture. They came back to me with a quote of £623.13 and said they wont be able to fix the puncture as its deemed unrepairable and too dangerous. They said both back 2 tyres and 1 front where at 2mm thread and required to be replaced. Shocking as one of the back tyre’s was replaced not too long ago (December). I was in disbelief and brought a tyre thread checker from amazon and it turns out they where lying. Back tyres measured at 2.6mm, 3.6mm (the one replaced in December) and front was 3.5mm. Moral of the story DON’T TRUST WHAT THEY SAY BLINDLY! Make sure you check elsewhere for a second opinion.

What can I say....Ste is one of the most knowledgeable, informative and honest mechanic/engineer I've ever had the pleasure to deal with.Explains everything in a manner you understand, honest and most importantly extremely trustworthy.So my advice is if you want someone you can trust, you'll find no better than 5speed!!!

I have used this garage for the past 5+ years after giving up on garages in Milton Keynes.I have finally found a mechanic who is honest and knowledgeable. Martin keeps a very clean garage and takes pride in his work. I only let Martin touch my car now.

Fixed the DSG mechatronic on my sister's VW golf which wouldn't start as gear lever wouldn't shift.I had taken the car to a few local mechanics who were completely clueless suggesting dead battery/starter as to why the car won't start. I then found this specialist in gearboxes. I phoned him and he answered straight away. I got the car recovered here and left the man to do his work on it. Took a few days as he had a lot of cars but was back on the road at least.Also, was helpful in explaining a few other issues he found such as water pump failure and ABS sensor issue.Provides invoice on work completed.

Customer service flawless. Very pleased with my new car. Thanks to David and Barry for all their help and thanks to Barry for the loan of his specs.And they make a lovely cup of tea!
