Watford Locks

Kirkstall Lock
It is indeed a little lock. Perhaps not the littlest lock in Leeds, but it is certainly very rather little.Scientists believe that if the canal waters can keep eroding Kirkstall Little Lock, then little by little, it will gain the title of Most Little Lock in Leeds.Oh, and don't drink the water.

In a way, it's a shame this meandering canal was straightened in the 1930s. But it's still a pretty journey through the countryside. See if you can spot the old meanders.
